that's why "phone home" software is evil ;-) [yes flame me to death... go ahead about saying wow itself phones home... well blizz as a point of failure is part of the deal for the game... and with multi billion$ you can expect they do have some bcp and redundancy plans and can afford it (including affording to test them, a plan that's not tested is just going to not work... by murphy's law]

man, it's killin me...last level to go for 80..have 9+ pvp epics sitting in my bags and I am sure will get a couple more by the time I hit 80.

Wanted to push through tonight but looks like its not going to happen.

The backup server is running and handling connections just fine, sorry if there was a few minutes there with it down (or possibly just going really slow for a few minutes)

So the migration of the web sites is going right now, we couldn't finish that last night. We'll be back on the main server in an hour or two.
