Boosting without RAF viable?

I got 5 shamans, so I could do the totem tag boosting.

Ualaa, do you have a list of locations pre WotLK with mobs packed densely where this would work?

What is totem tag boosting? Do you have totems out and then seperate your group members from the party, but does that help?
