Man that must suck, so close!... I kinda feel ya...well not to that extent but that happened to us twice at about 1998 rating, and another time at 2090. Always some 1500-1800 all melee dps garbage team.

I can't wait till next season when every other team will be 4x melee with bryntolls and crap
Might just go for 1800, grab that cool shield and go carebear
