It's just a castable aoe spell now, that comes out of any fire totem you have down. No more stun and no more switching totems.
Instead of dropping your fire nova totem and it going off in 4 secs (with stun if you talented it), it now is a spell you cast that will use your current fire totem as a AoE. So say you drop 4 searing totems, you could then also cast fire nova and get an AoE effect off them.
Disadvantage is that it requires you to be in melee range to drop totems.
Normal cooldown is 10 secs.
Talented is 6 secs.
With glyph its 3 secs.
With the glyph, I can see this being handy in BG's & WG when you're getting zerged...
Not so sure about arena though.
