Funny I was the first boxer to hit 70 on grimbarbal back in the days but alliance side sucks so i made hordes

So what is it gonna be ally or horde side ?

The current GB-boxers are horde side (except one), so I guess horde :-)

Whats the alliance-horde ratio like on the server? Can you get dailies done without being attacked all the time?

I can´t say, i didnt reroll horde on grimbartol jumped to a whole new server

But I dont think ganking is an issue in icecrown and such, atleast back in the 70s where i did dailys on the isle noone ever got close to me

Alliance got waaay more PVE guilds. But doing daily's is never a problem. Rarely meet anyone on IC daily's, besides argent tournament 'hot' ones like TFA.
