Recent hate

For the most part I accept that there are both super people and idiots, mixed amongst the nameless masses.

The nice people, I respond to... usually directing them to this site.
If I'm not busy, I'll answer a lot of questions and what not.

The idiots, I generally just ignore.
However, if they're really annoying, I report them.

Never really gotten alot of hate. But im not lvl 80 yet and don't do pvp so....

I've gotten hate on almost every team except my druids. There's almost zero when I run 5 trees in AV. In fact, even the loudest mouths usually shut up when you dump 20 hots on them in the middle of a fight, or when you keep a single rock elemental up while it tanks drek for the win. People don't usually hate on healers too much and the response has been very positive.

My team of druid and 4 shammys has ahd the odd "fail" comment but quite a lot of "wtf's" and "how the f**k" always makes me smile hehe.

My rogues actually got afk reported yesterday. And I got kicked from AV! first time that ever happened. RUIN battlegroup.

AV is about the only BG I run a lot.

As mentioned in the other thread, I think the AV trinket is worthwhile.
If you're reported, just use the trinket to hearth and go on defense.
The reporting people lose whatever tower/bunker you were guarding.
And you can chain trinket-hearth, which keeps you in the BG without contributing if they want to be douches.

Them who? The game doesn't tell you who reported you AFK, so unless they specifically tell you they reported you AFK then you really can't do anything about it...

I suppose you could report everyone in the BG.
Anyone who is actually active will lose the debuff fast.

I don't think I'd take that approach, but its an option.

I would consider opening a ticket with a GM.
And saying you were active in the BG, holding a tower/bunker until it burnt.
Or recapping your own tower/bunkers etc.
And that other players are "griefing" you, and preventing you from having fun in the game.
