    edit: I treated the problem backwards.

    For general startup/shutdown laziness, I would look at hardware installation (drivers) and software installation (the Registry)

    6gb RAM / 4 clients caught my eye.

    Even though the G15 isn't reporting 100% RAM utilization, I'd look for memory hard faults (a sign that Vista is using the pagefile) thus putting more stress on your HD.

    Also, overclocking is your friend.

    What should i look for in registry?

    How would i see memory hard faults? As far as OC i figured the system would be good enough that i shouldnt need it. Is thier a easy idiots guide to OC? I did it in my old system but it was in the bios and was to easy.

    So not sure if this is what your talking about but found hard faults in windows reliability and perfromance center thing. With this site open and a 1 instance of wow it says im getting 2 hard faults per minute in wow and 1 for IE.
