Sorry, I used Quest Guru the first RAF and never since. Carbonite and Jamba is all the add-ons needed. Fire up your Key-program and you are set. Well I guess you would also need Tour Guide (dah) but all the others that are in the first "manual" are not as good.
For the RAF files, I am still sifting through the horde starting section. Darn RAF is too good, you level through guide faster than it allows.
Also thinking of going back to 1 file for each faction, would save a couple steps. Thoughts?
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

First, I'm very new to Dual Boxing (um, 2 days! ), so I want to start by saying thanks to all the experienced folks out there on this site for all the work, and information.

This thread (and others) are great, but get a bit fragmented and confusing. For quick clarification,
The 'staples' I use today for dual boxing are: Jamba and GCP.

To aid in questing I use:
TomTom, QuestHelper, Lightheaded, Tourguide (+ James Guides), ...etc.

If I'm reading all the posts right, the recommended quest addons set-up would simply be :
Carbonite and Tourguide( + Aragent's one file Alliance Guide). (I'll still use Lightheaded as I like some of the tips at a glance)

Does this sound right? (I'm assuming a TomTom like arrow is built into Carbonite)

    Thanks again to all!

Edit: Wow - I forgot I attempted dual boxing back in April '08. LOL - was surprised to see this is my '4th' post to this site.
Thought I had just signed up on this site last week....guess I'm getting easily confused in my old age!

First let me say welcome aboard.
I don't personally use Carbonite but have heard great things about it [I use a modified version of Metamap that I have maintained for years] But yes From what I know Carbonite is a multifunction addon that enhances map features and quest ui.

But in this instance yes would replace tomtom
Basicly there are choices to achieve the same goals
Questhelper [shows you the closest quest that you currently have] helpful to have for quests you take that are not in the Levleling guide (and once you are 80)
Tourguide is more like the typical leveling guide [like James for instance] that will show you what order to take quest and tell you what one you should take next.
Lightheaded is recommended as it provides the wowhead database info and helps give coordinates to Tourguide.
James Guides nice set of guides for 1-80 but geared to solo play, Great for those times your just leveling one character and for those levels we are still working on for our project.
Multi-box RAF 1-70 guide is geared to wows Recruit a friend (3X eperiance) with limited Collection quests)

we will be working on 60-80 guides as well as 1-60 Multiboxing guide the deference between the RAF 1-60 guide and the future Multibox 1-60 Guide in a nut shell is Multi box will be geared to leveling without the 3x experience boost where the RAF is if you take that rout to 60.

the current RAF 1-60 guide does not yet allow much versatility in the path taken to reach 60 (its a work in progress.

Currently the only difference between the File I host and alcattle is mine does not overwrite other tourguide files thus you can have it and the default Tourguide files and James tourguide files.

will there be differences in the future that remains to be seen.

I hope this helps in answering your questions and help you in making your choices
