Does this mean that for those who boosted a shaman using RAF and didn't visit a trainer....they won't need to do the totem quest that have them running all over Azeroth?

I'm not positive, but I think that some of the beginner quests give Rank 1 of certain spells and you'd need to do the quests to get those ranks. Course, I could be wrong.

Doing those quests - especially if the shammy in question has not hit 60 yet and is still under RaF - are worth it. You'll get crazy-good xp from them. (That can mess up your team if you're trying to keep them all at the same xp, though.)
    RaF is done.
