Some questions for Vyndree :)
Hey Vyndree,
I started 5 boxing 2 days ago, and now playing 1 lvl 18 prot paladin 4 lvl 18 elemental shaman on Jaedanar EU. Anyways, when im boxing how do you press your shaman spells?
I am like, oh yeah i need to tank (where i almost have no time for because they die fast), and i am like pressing 2 and 3 (2=lightning bolt / 3 is shocks) so my shamans keep nuking them down, i cant hold agro aswell.
Anyways on bosses or something, do you just click your paladin abilities and press your shaman ones? Or do you have usefull keybinds for them?
And with healing i have one macro that they all heal me, but 4x healing wave gives me like 200% healing. Although i hope this will be less with lesser healing healing spell.
I am multiboxing cheap though, 5 boxing on one computer and i dont have Xkeys. I do have a logitech G15 keyboard.
I hope you understand what i was meaning, im dutch so my english isn't that great.
I hope you will answer this post, :)

Hello. :)

I'm confused about this question. Are you asking what my keybindings are?
[quote]I am like, oh yeah i need to tank (where i almost have no time for because they die fast), and i am like pressing 2 and 3 (2=lightning bolt / 3 is shocks) so my shamans keep nuking them down, i cant hold agro aswell.[/quote]
Well you're going to find that, depending on what level/gear your tank is, you are going to need to let it get some "lead time" on threat. What I do is I typically play as a "clicker" -- that is, I click my pally's buttons -- until she has enough threat to let the dps go wild. :) Giving all of your characters a threat meter -- my favorite is Omen -- works wonderfully.
I'm assuming your original question was about bindings so here goes (this is how things are currently):
[b]Main bar (dps bar)[/b]
1 = lightning bolt / holy shield
2 = frost shock / hammer of wrath (mostly for PvP/questing)
3 = purge / [i]nothing[/i]
4 = earth shock / hammer of justice
5 = chain lightning / consecrate
6 = searing totem / [i]nothing[/i]
7 = fire nova totem / [i]nothing[/i]
8 = magma totem / [i]nothing[/i]
0 = health pot
- = mana pot
= = food/water
[b]SHIFT bar (healing bar)[/b]
SHIFT+1 = flame shock / seal of vengeance
SHIFT+2 = chain heal off myself / [i]nothing[/i]
SHIFT+3 = LHW / [i]nothing[/i]
SHIFT+4 = Healing Wave / [i]nothing[/i]
SHIFT+5 = Chain Heal / [i]nothing[/i]
SHIFT+5 = Gift of the Naaru/ [i]nothing[/i]
[b]CTRL bar (totem bar)[/b]
CTRL+1 = Mana Spring Totem + Healing Stream Totemx3 / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+2 = WoA + GoA + WF + Windwall totem / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+3 = Tremorx2 + Stoneskin + Str / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+4 = Groundingx4 / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+5 = Staggered tremor x4 / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+6 = Totemic Call / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+7 = Poison Cleansex2 / [i]nothing[/i]
CTRL+8 = Disease Cleansex2 / [i]nothing[/i]
[b]Clickable buttons for pally:[/b] All other seals, judgement, bubbles, taunt
I suppose you could replace "nothing" with "holy shield" since you will always want to spam holy shield, but that's up to you.

See above :)

See my "[url='http://dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Macro:Conditional_Backup_Healing']conditional backup healing[/url]" to see how I do it.
Basically, I assign 2 shammies to "LHW duty" and 2 shammies to "Healing Wave duty". If one of them dies, the other one takes over. This makes it so that at any given time, I have 2 and only 2 shaman casting a heal when I tell them too, or I can have 2 LHW queued up and 2 HW queued up at the same time if I'm taking massive damage.
Here's an example with ShammyA, B, C, and D...
ShammyA:
Code:
/stopcasting [target=shammyB,help,nodead]
/cast Lesser Healing Wave
ShammyB:
Code:
/cast Lesser Healing Wave
Code:
/stopcasting [target=shammyA,help,nodead]
/cast Healing Wave
ShammyC:
Code:
/stopcasting [target=shammyD,help,nodead]
/cast Lesser Healing Wave
ShammyD:
Code:
/cast Lesser Healing Wave
Code:
/stopcasting [target=shammyC,help,nodead]
/cast Healing Wave

I mostly use the xkeys for buttons that are useful but don't need to be right there at my fingertips. Like mounting, or heroism, or water shield/lightning shield. An xkeys is not essential, but it is helpful.
