Had a few bgs now and i must say WOW. This is like playing in tbc, stuff actualy die easy and our heals are pro!

Though i get lag when i put out my totem drop. anyone else has this with 4 shamans?
I'm running 5, and although I haven't PvPd yet, I did do some dailes and mobs dropped like prom dresses. I usually kill chillmaw and the 3 cultists in about ~10 secs, this morning chillmaw dropped before the cultists even hit the ground. Five earthquakes later and they were dead.
I did notice some very annoying lag, so I went into my video settings. Seems like Bliz defaulted everything to "fair" on settings (or maybe it was "good"). Anyhoo, dropped all my slaves to "low", and got rid of that.
Yeha, had to put down the shadows and stuff on my slaves aswell. The new water seems to drain the system aswell. But i think there is some server lag or sumthing that causes the delay u get when u drop the totems.
...well I'm sure that had nothing to do with the mass chaos of patch day :)

But its like my system freezes for 1,5 sec when i put it out. kinda strange, but well see how it evolves ;)
Could've also been your client still streaming. My hard drive was going total apeshit when I was trying to move around in Dalaran.
To be honest, the more I read about the changes, the more Cataclysm might be the end of boxing for me. I can't really name a single change I like and I'm actually serious about that.. Being a bit of a pessimist at the moment though.
Didn't really pay attention to the patch, figured that because the background downloader was gone i'd have it. Well i didn't. Still downloading it atm.
Ele shamans are pretty OP right now with the Lightning shield/earth shock thing :P
hm, 15% dmg increase with elemental mastery, no more armor penetration caped warriors, 10k lhw's, dmg reduce while casting (ok we lost astral shift), lava burst overload, earthquake in arenas - interrupt rezzing around the cornerQuote:

Not too happy with the prot pally changes. So far it seems like they got nerfed for boxing. I don't like the longer CD for concentrate. Sacred shield gone for Word of Healing or whatever it's called. I'll have to see.

Glyph changes are pretty nice too. Fire Eles every 5, hex cd going down, healing stream given all resistances that we used to have to drop 3 totems for?
Mortal Strike + Wound Poison only reducing healing by 25%.. aimed shot, 0%.
Druids being hexable?
Lots of fun little changes here and there...
qft, i realy like this pluss blizz stated they will nerf mage, SP and warlock dps xD
Thought they would buff warr and pala dps but they dont even get close now so whatever ;)
Figured out waht my totem freeze was, was an addon called totemrange that messed up. All if fine now.

But that's just me and yes, i'm annoyed by this stuff. :D
Edit: And i didn't even mention no instant Ghostwolf (yet).
Yea, not being able to go into the other trees until you are 31 points in is complete bullshit. Forcing everyone to be the same. I want my instant GW and I prob won't use earthquake all that much.

That's what I'm referring to. I can conceed there's about 20 points in the elemental tree I would consider "mandatory" and 5 in the enhancement tree - I guess the remaining 11 are supposed to feel "flavorful." Some are, but most are just meh.

loving it. i ditched the dk/ret team and went back to my 4 shaman. even 1 shaman is brutal in a BG and I'm going top kills and damage every game. Did a WG with 14 stacks of tenacity and it took 20+ people several minutes to wipe my team (they had to run me out of mana). Stacking mastery is just crazy on all 4 shaman, firing stuff off like machine guns. Pretty sure this is what I'll be boxing in cata
