Focus command not working for me
Hey just wanted to let you know jamba is a great program after i figure out how to use it
anyhow i not a brain child but alot stuff can be made a little more clear on how to use like a dummies guide for jamba lol kidding aside
anyhow i tryin to get the focus target to work and focus follow work and i have the jamba command as mention above to change my focus and leaders
the /assist focus command does not work for me for some reason even thu it shows my main as my focus but my alts will not attack just me
however i can use the /assist toon1 type to attack but if i switch toons then if my toon1 is alive will the macro goes back to toon 1 to attack
the idea is i want to be able to switch focus on any of my toons and switch screen to that toon and all my alts will assist/follow the new toon
if can get the focus to work then they will work the way i want but right now i can't seem to get any of the /focus commands to work i tryed alot of them from Ken's complete shaman macro post to the ones i seen here and even the ones i seen on the macors threads
Thank you

RE: Focus command not working for me
Well it seems like the /focus in jamba is for jamba only focus
just out of playing around with this i put a /focus toon1 on the macro that has my main setting him to the leader and focus for jamba and now the focus commands work
seems like you have to set focus for each one of your alts by using the /focus command not the one in jamba unless I am suppose to put the same copy of that macro for my main toon in each of my alts toolbar
like i said there should be some time of post where you saying do this for your main and this for your alts and it will do this type of action seems alot theories are being talk about
i think alot questions (newbies and good questions) can be answer with a very simple basic how to and why you want to do this for the main and alts as for the jamba website all i got from it was what the options are as there was not much on that i need to run this macro to set my toons to this or what not I learn that from here from another poster
I don't know jamba well enough to say that i can answer anyones questions but i know enough that i figure out the hard way just like boxing there is alot things that needs to be told thats not being told in the newbie forms however they are very basic so people do get the idea
i guess when you have your ahh haa moment then everything becomes clear lol anyway
thanks all on this form and multiboxers all over for sharing everything cheers to you all
Thank you

RE: RE: Focus command not working for me
ok i think i figure it out now at least i hope
i use this on the main one for each toon
/focus toon1
/jamba setmeasmaster all
/jamba-follow strobeonme all
/script SetView(5);SetView(5);
on my alts i use
/focus toon1
as the focus in the top macro works only on the main toon not on the alts
you have to one for each toon with each name on the keypress and the same /focus macro toonname for the toon that becomes leader
i hope i was able to help someone out here
sorry for my being a critic on the subject as I am one of those people who read and read some more it took me about 2 months of reading before i did multiboxing and well i try jamba before and didn't like it cause i just couldn't make it work thu the group deal now after bangging my head for the last 2 weeks over it i now got it working i just came up with a idea of switching leaders and pip at the push of a button an that way i can loot with that one toon for those gathering quests and not have to mouse over to the other screen
anyway keep up the great work here and nevermind my rants as if it wasn't for you guys i would still be playing single char wow lol but i really enjoy the game now as i see more and do more
Thank you
