This may sound like a bit of a bit of a nooby question, but does this addon work with the FTL setup? I'm having problems with it warning me when my followers break follow. Just wondered if it was something I was doing wrong? ?(

Hi Jafula, thank you for the reply on focus setup, I'll try right away...
another feature it could be nice to add to your 0.5 release is the auto sell of main sold items .. let me explain ..
I just ended this quest : http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12872
I took the 2H axe "Maker's Edge" because its the most valuable item in the useless rewards...
I'm validating lot of quest everyday, as everybody else, and I ever wanted my clones to sell the same crap I get rid off ...
all the toons have the merchant windows open .. I (on the main) sell a quest reward .. and automaticly the alts also sell this exact piece of junk..
By now if I'm making some room into my bags with the latests quest rewards I have to switch from toon to toon, to sell everytime the same item.. I had sometimes mistaken and sold another item with the same icon .. so such a feature could be wonderfull update to the Jamba sell module
Btw .. forgive me if you already planned to put it into the 0.5 or.. if this feature is already in the 0.4 release but I haven't seen it yet.
thank you
That's a cool idea. No ones mentioned anything like that before. Hmm, I think I might be able to add an option to do that. Maybe when you hold down control and shift it will try and sell the same item on the slaves if you have the option turned on.Quote:

Please let me know if the master switching / follow strobing is working properly for you now.
Yes it should - it depends on how complex your FTL setup is; see my reply to king.pa two posts down. FTL setup is macros and Jamba works with macros. What exactly do you mean by "I'm having problems with it warning me when my followers break follow"?Quote:

juste an update about the slash command :
/jamba-follow strobeonme all
i presume that /jamba-follow calls the follow module, and the the command itself... can you list all the commands available here (or link where you detail'em) because I'm wondering myself about a little change (if possible, or if available), in the command :
/jamba-follow strobeonfocus all
or depending on the windows where the macro is launched :
/jamba-follow strobeonToonB all
The idea is to swith toon, switch focus, and switch who will be followed by the other toons just in a press of a button .. that's why I'm using the FTL just for my focus setup .. I only have to hit the F1 Key to set to focus on the toon on the active window, and after that the key modifiers do the trick.
when you say :
/focus NewLeaderToon (NewLeaderToon is actualy the name of the toon right ? I'm freaking n00b sometimes)
/jamba-follow strobeonme all
/script SetView(5);SetView(5); (which is for ?)
finaly, I understood that we have to use Jamba follow command instead of the /follow curently provided by the game.. but what is this slash command ?
TY Jafula, and I'm happy that my idea about the selling of same items on each toons is kinda doable .. the modifier key is also a great ide.. preventing to sell an item that you want your toon to keep (because they're always stuffed like my granny), and the main to sell (because already got Epix in the slot ) :thumbsup: :thumbup:

There is a command:Quote:

/jamba-follow strobeon <target> <tag>
So you would use:
/jamba-follow strobeon ToonB all
AFAIK no one has used this with the FTL like you are suggesting. I think most have a separate button to change masters. I have F8 to make Yaswar the master, F9 to make Yasprie the master, etc.Quote:

What I am missing is a strobeonmaster command. This way you can use your FTL setup to change the focus and update the jamba master and also set the follow.
Yes, NewLeaderToon is the name of the toon that you want to be the leader. You must do this on all the characters. What happens is Jamba hooks the Focus change event and sets the master to be whoever the focus is (if you have the option set).Quote:

The /jamba-follow strobeonme all is a command sent by that toon to all the other toons telling them to follow it. You only do this on the new master toon.
/script SetView(5);SetView(5); is just a way of changing the camera view for a toon.
I really don't know how compatible this is with your FTL setup. Has anyone else tried to do this with FTL (i.e 1 key rather the 5 keys for 5 boxers)?It's a good idea; I'll try and add it into 0.5.Quote:

Aye .. I got my FTL macro on the run !!!
this way all toons can be set to master at will, and toons will always follow their master buddies each sec of their lifes :)Code:/focus [mod:ctrl,mod:shift,nomod:alt]Minimighty;
[mod:ctrl,mod:alt,nomod:shift]Mynimighty;
[mod:alt,mod:shift,nomod:ctrl]Mynymighty;
[mod:ctrl,mod:alt,mod:shift]Mynymyghty;
[nomod]player
/jamba-follow strobeon focus all
hurray !!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
Yes, that makes sense; because of 3.0.8, I had to add a check to make sure a character did not follow itself. When you use focus, the check does not work because "focus" <> "ToonName". I will have to make a fix for you so that if you pass focus or target or party1, etc that it resolves to the actual unit before it does the check. Er, don't worry if you don't understand that.Quote:
Hi, no my main character isn't trying to follow hinself.. but it happens quite often when i'm on some vehicule (like all seconds the main try to follow himself..)
So for you using "/jamba-follow strobeon focus all" in 0.4d, the main will still try to follow itself while in a vehicle.
THANK YOU! It's the little things in life that make me happy :PQuote:
Jamba-Quest
Pressing escape will now hide the Jamba-Quest window.
Hi Jafula,
While we are especting new stuff from the 0.5 imminent release ;-) I'm going to ask you something I really miss from "Multiboxer V2" .. the chat Relay...
I don't know how it works, but with this add on, when a clone receive a wisp, it's redirected to the main char by a system msg (an add on system message actually, similar to jamba alert msgs "follow broken") that you just have to clic to start a wisp toward the guy who wisped the clone (I hope I'm understandable :whistling: ).
This is a great feature because, when you chat with somebody, you can add him/her to your friend list, or continue the chat whenever you want ... so Your way is fine, but if I want the wisper to know my main char and wisp him myself, I have to wips him from the main, and therefore to write his/her name down .. that's not an issue if the guy is called "Kevin" or "Colimeur" or another easy writing name .. but if the name is "?ång?röus" Its nearly impossible to write it to the friend list, or simply wips him by yourself... I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain :) nowadays, many people are namming their characters with **style** ...
So I liked this feature from "Multiboxer V2" but it was before Jamba comes around ... :) and I lost this wisp chat relay the way I liked it...
