Was excited, turned on war mode.. sham/4x hunter. It's just rough to say the least. It's sort of doable but too much of a hassle. I guess the consolation prize is PvP in wow isn't what it used to be anyways.

Just turned off war mode, found the issue was the hunter pets are somehow perma stuck in combat, even when I was in town. Felt just wrong...
As Mirai posted, they could have just removed /follow from warmode. I don't think anyone is going to get banned over this.
All melee team is alot better but keep in mind spamming IWT isn't good either the second the target dies your toons run of in different directions
You need to keybind all stop aswell cause they won't follow right away, takes a while for the follow master kicks in again
You could play like pally tank or healer with 4 unholy dks making the dks semi ranged classes but still can IWT once a while to catch up target when the run off, also castsequence dk grip is a really good help in wpvp / warmode
Note. Making your dks unholy gives you a extra grip from abomination pets
I definitely see what youre saying. I jus have most of my follow and interact keys on my mouse (razer naga) so its easy to press attack then quickly spam IWT on pet. That way once the run all over, so long as they dont get too far, theyre jus run back to the pet.
Ive always been biased towards frost because its so brain dead that its easy to box but the changes to unholy might make it easier to set up a dps rotation. Ill definitely try some time in the future. You can always spam howling blast at range without IWT if you wanna sit back and do damage. And being DK, some of the hassle of IWT can be eliminated with grip.
I did some invasion leveling yesterday with my 5x108 aff locks which resulted in good amount of pvp, and it was sooo much fun after the months of constant one shots from geared 110s. They werent able to kill me, and I didnt have any problems to kill them. Follow broke up the moment I was flagged pvp, but few seconds after the opponents was killed it was lifted and follow worked again. all in all, I was just sitting there like ducks waiting to get anihilated, but it was the other way round.
Follow seems to come back a bit on my rogue teams, but it seem to break again, works on and off for a bit then it works. Feels like something keeps us PVP activated for a while. Could be party buffs and auras? I think i'll stick to doing PVP in Battlegrounds when i'm ready for the hassle rather than while i'm just trying to quest.
How's the balance for tanks vs not? I left about two months after the Argus raid came out, and Rogues/Mages could one-shot any number of grouped non-tanks, and came close to one-shotting tanks.
I've been thinking more about follow and maybe it's something specific to hunters, but yesterday I ran into some players in Argus while doing some World Quests and dispatched them, though it was messy on my part as my auto face IWT wasn't setup or working properly. I portaled back to the main ship and auto follow was still broken, it would work for a hot second and then break, and kept repeating. I'm assuming no one else is experiencing something to that degree?
It'd be nice if there was a way to petition this to find out their reasoning behind turning this off in general, from what I have gathered it was to maybe combat the 25+ boxers that would roam as a death ball. You'd think capping the amount of followers would be an easy fix, or if there is > 20 people in a 10 yard radius follow doesn't work.
I just want my follow back! not pvping at all is like a piece of the game is gone.

I took a look at the blizzard general forums, and it appears the general population is happy with this change, they've been burned in the past by multiboxing (even though it's such a small community, I suppose it just sticks out).
