[Addon] Jamba - An assistant for multiboxers. Old Thread

Thanks for nice addon, but I ran into a pretty annoying bug today. I am boxing 5 shamans and was doing http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7861 I am using Jamba to complete quests and get same rewards on all chars and had no problems with it so far. But this time my main selected [Deep Woodlands Cloak] as reward and got it. Slave chars got another reward, [Woven Ivy Necklace], which is pretty useless for elem shammies :( All the previous quests were totally fine, but I'd suggest people to use manual reward selection for important quests for now.

I don't run a group of the all the same class; so I haven't tested the quest same reward functionality that much. There in fact may be a bug in Jamba (it is beta software). Having said that, I'm sorry you had this problem. I'll try and take some time to look at it. If anyone else has experience this, please speak up (here or send me a PM).

Do you have any other addons that could potentially alter the quest functionality?

I have used the different reward quest selection for a long time now and it has not caused me any issues (aside from the earlier bugs which are gone now).

Speaking of the quest reward selection or not, would it be possible to add an option that lets you still broadcast the "complete quest" button even without the reward selection broadcasted?
This would allow me to select the reward on each character before hitting complete on the main and everyone getting the reward they selected. Thus letting everyone still complete the quest at the same time.
I guess this is kind of a minor thing since i have to click something in all the windows anyway, but it would return the satisfaction of having them all level up at the same time in the case of a quest that is the last xp needed to ding ;)

Potentially, yes, its something that I would like to do, and it's on my bug/todo list. I have the same problems and it would definitely speed things up slightly.

I like it. There are many ways to view health already, but a consolidated minimalistic status display with follow, health, etc...awesome. Having to move and refocus your eyes takes attention, and multiboxers never have enough to go around.

Are you planning to update it with options for mana/rage/energy/runes/runic power? And does this exclude the XP bars you currently have in the follow pane? (Keeping the consolidated XP check is nice, but less pressing to know than health status.)

No, not unless someone specifically asks for something. At the moment, you can toggle between health and xp, but not display both. I imagine if you wanted power types (mana, rage, etc) you would want that as well as health, which means more bars making it look less clean, and more addon traffic to send the power information between toons.

I'm the 26 boxor. So I have 6 seperate groups up all the time to take advantage of RAF. Raid exp is very poor so I am in groups.

With the autofollow / health team thing on my main I can keep track of the 25 followers from my mains screen, even though they are in differnt groups. I had been using 3rd person view on all but the main to kinda keep track of whats going on (I have 6 computers to one keyboard and 6 monitors - www.samdeathwalker.com) but this is way way better! Great Work!

Absolutely awesome. I want to see a screenshot of your Jamba-Team gui with all 26 characters in it! I assume you'll be using the health system. New release of Jamba by the end of the week.

Two bugs, but they're sometimes there and sometimes not. No clue why.

1. Warn If Target Not Master On Combat (Slave) is not enabled on either Hunter team or Shaman team.
I never have this issue with the shaman's, but frequently have it with the hunters - basically spammed that the master is not their target.
The only way to disable it, if it decides to spam this, is to exit the game and restart. Sometimes its gone, sometimes its there.
Note: my options are the same in Jamba, regardless of whether I get this spam or not.

I've had a look at this code and made a small change to it (but I'm not 100% sure it will help). After you get the next release of Jamba, please do let me know if you keep getting this problem.
