Not saying I don't know how to do it was curious what other people would come up with :) Isboxer ftw.
My virtual keymap method does +/-100 dps of the current click macro on live. I'm testing these on the lvl 80 target dummy with 1 chain lightning jump to the heroic training dummy. With both methods I am sustaining over 7500 DPS (without any Racial/Trinket/EM/ Thunderstorm usage) going from 100% mana to 0% mana.
Working in earth shock shouldn't be too bad. The randomness of lava surge im not too worried about I probably won't spec into it anyways for multi-boxing ><
I have a few teams:
Protection Paladin
4* Elemental Shaman
Protection Warrior
3* Warlock
Disc/Holy Priest
Blood DK
3 Ret Paladins
Restoration Shaman
Then I have this group missing either tank or healer:
Druid (Tank/Healer)
Warlock
Hunter
Mage
(maybe will slowly level them with a tank or healer friend)
And A Rogue...
These are my lvl 80s and I am of course taking into account which acc they're in and really don't want to spend money with transfers to optimize it.
I think I'll level them in this order.
Another thing I've been thinking of is not starting leveling them as soon as Cata hits (as I always did and rush first team to level cap). As usual I think they'll remove rest status, so I'll probably wait 15 days for them to get full rested. In the meanwhile, either I level up my tank or healer for that incomplete team or I'll just fly around with my herb/miner paladin and farm a lot and (hopefully) make a lot of money.
What'll be your strategy?
Cheers,
Altsoba aka a lot other nicks ;)
Get my shamans to 85 first for raiding and arenas. Then level the others if I have time.
I have 4 sham + pal.
a mixed caster group. Boonkin/Destro/Arcane Mage/HolyPriest/War.
a mixed melee group Ret/DK/Enh/FeralDruid/Priest
Then a Rogue/Hunter that gets worked in wherever.
Probably most classes in several teams... Main team will more then likely remain my pally/sham team. The ret pally team might not be so hot anymore, as the healing seems to have gotten a bit nerf'd. For general mayhem my NE hunter team (BM spec on all but one) with camo and shadowmeld will be very funny in Tol Barad ;)
