queue on Herod are now about 1200, 10 minutes, I got in again with all 5 chars, it will die down, I would recommend sticking it out for now, People will go back to their regular schedule within a week and it will be easy to get in, Id rather go through a little bit of pain at first and be on the server that will be able to compete against the streamers' server!
Herod was pretty good. Some of us got our teams to 10+ level.
I hadn't planned on Alliance, but I suppose I could. I started as Alli in TBC and didn't change to Horde until Cata when an Army buddy got me back into it. Also, I like your humor and overplanning/overthinking thought processes . When things calm down I'll make a team and let you know. PM me and I'll send my btag (not sure if allowed to post it here).
LoL I am retired Military myself so maybe that influenced my thought processes some ;-) .
Sorry I don't use battletags (I only keep the blizzard client open to make sure I am patched and otherwise I launch directly from ISboxer.
When you are ready probably best to just jump on our discord:

If that doesn't work you can send me a PM here on the DB.com forums and we will figure something out.
That is exactly what I plan to do also.
When I get in I plan to make 2+ teams of 4 Gnome Warlocks +1 Dwarf Priest (Healer/ShadowPriest) and I plan to put each team's priest on separate accounts so I can mix and match and do 5warlocks, 4warlocks+1priest, 3warlocks+2priests, etc...
