Thanks! Will try it out in a bit!
Hello people,
Its been a while since i multiboxed :) I had the greatest luck starting it with Jamba almost a year ago but its been a while now. So may i ask a question? :D
How do you select vendor on slaves , dead mobs for loot , quest givers ?
And you have improved a lot Jafula great work. Thx for making things easy for us :D
Oh, and I've been getting a message saying my bags are full if I'm trying to do /follow while being a ghost.
Following issue on master. I have updated my macros to use the new iammaster syntax and master/leader switches correctly on PIP out of combat. But as soon as the master enters combat the master starts strobing on whichever toon was the last master. Only the master does this, the others stay on the proper/current master. I can't turn it off until am out of combat. This is a 1 second strobe, not the 3 second melee strobe.
I updated to the latest build this morning and the issue persists. Any suggestions?
Update: I checked the box "always use master as the strobe target" in the follow module. After a reload this seems to have corrected the issue.
But the prior matter still persists that every toon had the same master and the master itself was following something upon entering combat. The master should never follow anything automatically, only if you manually select a follow target. If you don't check that box the master will follow another toon.
Hello i have got the following Error message.

Ok I have a Jamba macro question I used to use
/focus Toonname
/jamba setmeasmaster all
Well now this command gives me an unknown command error so how do I do this now?
thanks in advance
Slash commands have changed, a list is here:
http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/jam...lash-commands/
This bug still seems to be persisting, so I figured I would bring it up... I'm using the following macro to set the current follow target and initialize my macros:
/jamba-macro use FTL #VarName#
/stopmacro [mod]
/jamba-team invite
/jamba-follow strobeonme all
/jamba-follow strobeoff
It will only execute the bottom 3 commands if the toon executing the command is the one currently in focus, due to the FTL setup.
Now, the issue is that I have "follow after combat" enabled. When I execute this on my main toon only, things work great and all is fine. However, say my main toon dies, and I run this macro on one of my slaves until I can res my main toon. That works fine, until I res my main toon and then hit this macro again on him.
Everyone follows him as intended, but from that point on, UNTIL I log out (even with the "strobeoff" command I have in there), after combat every time, my main toon will turn around and start following the slave I executed it on while he was dead. Everyone else will still be following my leader. It's really annoying when he randomly turns around, it's walked me off a cliff a couple times. :p
If there's anything I can do to help track the issue down, or if there's a chance I'm doing something wrong, let me know.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I am never changing which toon Jamba thinks is the master, so I don't think that's relevant. I think it may be that "strobeoff" and "strobeonme" aren't properly clearing the post-combat follow target.
For further trouble shooting. If you change masters a lot, such as with pip switching in Innerspace, The current master will follow the last known master. So the current master isn't getting the update when "Iammaster" is processed even though the core group list shows them as master.
Hope this helps.
BTW the new module setup is terrific. Excellent work.
Hey Jaf,
Nice to be back boxing! First, I've searched the forums using Jamba, Razer Naga and got one hit that had nothing to do with my problem sooooo... Here's my problem:
I use the Razer Naga mouse (12 keys right at my thumb). Bound to those 12 keys, I have the num pad N0-N9 plus N- N+ . I was playing with the macro module last night and trying to bind keys. Unless I'm doing something wrong, Jamba is not recognizing the keystrokes from the mouse as numpad keystrokes. It sees them as 0-9 rather than N0 - N9. If I bind actions to the keys via the in game keybinds menu, the keystrokes are recognized as N0 - N9 etc, but in Jamba they are not.. Am i missing something?
I've said this to you privately, but its worth saying over and over what a godsend this mod is, and how cool you are for offering it for free. I can, and will, work around this issue if I have to, but I just wanted to let you know this was happening.
Ok I see the list let me ask another question, but first thanks for the link and help. I notice some of the actual in game keybinds are gone for setting master and setting master as focus. I used to through 3 key clicks make new master leader and focus, so that no matter what window I had to jump to from deaths or what ever I was set. Is there now an easier way to do this, and if so I would greatly appreciate any help with how to set it up. Thanks in advance.
Just upgraded to .5b, I am used to using a "/jamba setfocusmaster" followed by executing that with a keybind. What is the new way of doing this?
Is there any way to have my slaves relay their quest progress to the master?
I know jamba used to do that. Has this feature been removed?
This functionality is gone. You can replace it with Jamba Macro, but you'll need to write your macros. Using Jamba Macro, you will be able to switch masters and set focus in one key press.
Here is a howto post I made for switching masters:
http://www.dual-boxing.com/showpost....2&postcount=23
I'm not sure I can help in this case. I use the Ace3 GUI library key binding control. I don't know how it works, but it obviously is a little different to regular wow key bindings (based on your experience). I'll have a look at the code for the control when I get a chance and see if its doing any key/mouse filtering.
I see that example, I guess it's non intuitive in that its more steps upfront than normal. Especially if you mix groups and cannot reuse the toon1-5.
But to be clear on the defacto example, the master you want me to setup a variable for each character (your tom, dick -> #toon1#, #toon2#) then use those variables just like someone might normally /focus tom or /focus dick. Then push those to the slaves (again if you swap in characters your going to need to augment this procedure since the names are defined it seems)
This seems quite intensive, is there a mechanism to allow the master to set a variable and then push it (out of combat). Something akin to thisCode:/jamba-team master #toon1#
/focus #toon1#
/jamba-follow master
Code:/jamba-macro iammastervar #MASTER#
/jamba-macro push
This wouldn't help the pvp people that want to swap characters i understand or work during combat since your rewriting the internal macro upon iammastervar.Code:/focus #MASTER#
/jamba-follow master
eine frage klappt das auch unter version 2.4.3?/does it work with patch 2.4.3?:)
I simply replaced my old
/jamba setmeasmaster all
with
/jamba-team iammaster
Something along those lines.
Re: you cannot reuse toon1-5.
The idea is that you tag your characters with these toon1, toon2, toon3, toon4, toon5 tags. When you change your group composition, you rearrange the tags on your characters appropriately. All you do is change the tags on your toons, push the updated tag settings, the run the /jamba-macro use xxx yyy all command. Note that you don't push the jamba macro settings as these are already defined on your toons.
If this is too much bother, you can use profiles to predefine these.
Edit:
jamba-macro looks for variables as tags on your toons first, before using the variables defined in jamba-macro.
Another way would be to setup several macro sets, one for each unique group of characters.
Ok maybe I did something wrong but I am sure I did the exact same thing on all 4 toons I made the....
master1
/jamba-team master #toon1#
slave1
/jamba-team master #toon1#
/focus #toon1#
/jamba-follow master
With each toon tagged all my toons did the !toon1 !toon2 till toon 4 I checked they all say the right things according to the post, or my interpretation of it....lol but when I swap lets say I am on toon 1 swap to toon 2 I have differant toons following differant people for some reason.1 and 2 swap fine but 3 and 4 follow 1 or 2 not who ever is set as master and then if I swap to 3 or 4 1 and 2 mess up. All this being said has anyone got a screen shot of 4 or 5 toons with the macro set up working that I can take a peek at? I am sure I just fudged something up somewhere just not sure where. Thanks for all the help so far guys. Oh and do the # go around the names I tried with and without I belive?
Jamba 0.5c has been released.
Changes:
Jamba-Team
- Can now set pass on loot for slaves regardless of loot settings.
- New option to switch to group loot if a stranger joins your group.
- New slash command to add all party members to your team: /jamba-team addparty
Jamba-Toon
- Bag full warning no longer happens if your character is dead or a ghost.
- Bag full warning will only happen once and will not happen again until you free bag slot count changes.
Jamba-Macro
- Can now use multiple macro sets at the same time.
Edit: image.

Make sure you only make the macros up on one toon and then push the settings to all the other toons. You need to make sure that all toons get the macro on the correct keys. When you hit the master key, the master should run the master macro and all the other slaves should run the slave macro.
The #'s go around the variables or toon tags.

Jafula Thanks again Ill try this out when I get up later.
I love this addon.
That could you add a way to configure what options are available with the Jamba Quest log..? I hit abandon all and didn't think things through and just thought it meant abandon on all characters not ALL quests. I hate this button more then any other button ever, why would anyone even want this button. After cussing at my computer for a few minutes as I had just completed 8 dailies on my team and hadn't turned them in yet, I edited the jamba quest file so the Abandon All button just calls the normal abandon button function so I never ever do that again.
Thanks for the continued updates Jafula. :D
i've just been 5 boxing with making my own macros and such and this addon seems like something i'd like to check out, but i can't find any type of manual or explaination of how to set this up. where is one?
Hi :) 1st let me say great addon..so few problems with it and thanks for continuing to update Jafula, it is much appreciated.
I do keep getting this error mesg tho.

It only pops up when i turn in a quest and it is only on a slave, all toons have current version.
Hope this helps.
Cheers :)
Edit: Correction..using 5a version, i will update to 5c and let you know if the same problem is there later today.
I am not sure how to get procs set up. I put in Rune Strike for my DKs, and it doesn't do anything. The pally one defaulted in works. But when I want to put in procs from gear, it doesn't seem to work. I tried Kill Shot in hunters, but I think that is more of a conditional use more than a proc. Yeah, you can tell me that I don't need notice for rune strike (put it in every macro or make a /click macro), but I am trying to figure out how to do things, so I can put in what I want. Those are just the things I tried to experiment with.
Sorry, procs is really broken at the moment. Blizzard broke the method I was using for certain procs, like mage hot streak (no longer comes up in the combat log) and I'm not sure that they have fixed it yet.
I suggest using MSBT (updated with workaround for Blizzards bug) or Proculas for your proc needs.
Please check http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=27438 for a potential bug in latest release.
Thanks again Jafula. Jamba is my favorite addon! Great job. :D
