Jafulu posted somewhere in this ocean of posts that the next version was modules and submodules for easy (as in checkbox based @ addon screen) removal of mods you dont use.Quote:

Just wanted to stop in. I've started using jamba now, gotta say I love it. Very helpful, very flexible. Thanks for the awesome addon, Jaf, keep up the good work!
I do have a question though. Jamba doesn't show my slaves' health on my main's screen. I have the option checked on all of the characters to show health, and it shows each individual on their own screen.
Just my thoughts. Does it show no health what so ever? That may be until your health changes, it might now show it. Buff and unbuff or something and see if health shows up. Also, I have gotten used to setting settings on my main and then "push(ing) to chars". I am not sure if that is required (if your alts need to have health setting also), but I do it anyway.
The big things I want. The way to stop "CharName is not in your party" or signed on, whatever the message is when I play with alts and Jamba wants to talk to chars that aren't on. And to have a "Accept quests from Main/Focus/Guild/Party" only not every NPC. And to have a way to do stuff based on what you type into a box for actions..."Do what (Main/Focus/Party1/CharName) does". I am pretty sure it only does what main does now. It doesn't have to be all of them, just a box so I could type in what I wanted the alts to use to do. If you want an example, I think Multiboxer v2 does this, that is where I got it from.
Thank you for the addon and your work to support it. /bow
If they don't show each others health, it may be that they don't know about each other.Quote:

Make sure you have set up your group correctly.

Like Zanthor says; you can use an addon manager in 0.5 to turn Jamba modules on and off (so back to what you suggested in the early days :) ). And it has been 10 months (first post was early September 08 ).Quote:

Yup, coming in 0.5. See in the image below (new 0.5 gui) that Yasprie is offline.Quote:

Can I have a concrete example? I'm not sure what you're asking here!Quote:

I think I found my problem. I added all the toons manually on each character, I figured it'd help for switching mains and stuff if I didn't wanna have to relog and sign in on a different client and stuff. Oh well, I can live with it.Quote:

Thanks again Jaf!
Right now there is an option to accept quests, but it ends up as accept quest from every NPC and player you ever encounter. I would just like to be able to accept quests from my main or focus or guild or party or a specific char name. Basically I want to share a quest from my main/focus...etc and have the alts accept it. There is an option to turn that on, but it makes it accept quests from NPC, so if I do 3 steps in a chain, the alts auto accept the 4th step even if my main doesn't. Hope that helps.Quote:

I might want to level up an char outside of a party. So they don't have a main listed. I use a healer and DPS/tank that is from a group, so I don't want to mess up their main settings. They just follow the char around and help heal/DPS. I take a flightpath, and they just look at me and stare, since there is no main setting. I might get a quest that they have missed, so I share it with them and go out. But they won't do what the char does in the quest NPC box, since there is no main set. I would just like to be able to put in do what main or do what focus or do what leader/party1 or do what specific char name does. That would let me not have to set main settings for people that aren't going to keep that and mess up when I switch chars around. Hpe that helps.Quote:

I'd also like to vote for a 'share all quests upon acceptance' option whereby the main toon automatically shares new quests as they are accepted. I sometimes run with mixed teams, and it's not always clear who has done what quest. With the quest-related achievements now in the game, I'm also going back to pick up gray quests, with mixed participation among my alts.
I love the inventory management ideas mentioned a couple pages ago. In it's simplest form, auto-trading junk, potions, and cooking items to alts who have room would be a really nice time saver. A more advanced version might trade all cloth to a particular alt, all gems to the enchanting alt etc but programming that is probably more trouble than it's worth.
edit: update - looks like Tynk linked to some quest sharing code in this thread: Slave quest
Hey,
first i would like to congratulate you on that gg addon. But i have some issue and i can't get it to work. The current patch on it is 3.0.9, knowing that i tried different version of jamba it gives me that error which is send to everyplayer in the group that i selected:
http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/7767/sanstitrehws.jpg
I would really like to play with a group of 5. [s]I know that talking about private server is not allowed here, but i assure you thats it's only me and it's not public.[/s] (GURB, If you know its not allowed here then why do you talk about it? Lookin for a ban?)
Anyway i used the version 0.4b to 0.4e and all of them gives the same errors. (knowing that 0.4b was around the patch 3.0.9, so it should work)
Thanks for reading if it doesn't get deleted =)
Have a good day!

Hmm, you must mean the future version 0.4f since 0.4e contains this bug :(Quote:

I have gotten the newest version twice since the last patch that broke things. The only way to invite is unclick everything in Jamba-Group and click on the invite pop-up on each toon. Otherwise the alts auto-deny party inviteQuote:

Make sure you aren't using another addon that deny's party invites, such as "Automaton". I am using version E and my invites work perfectly with multiple groups, and my group members are not on each others friends list either.

Are you sure you have the latest version installed?
The Zip file says 4e, you are using a command. Would using the button change anything?Quote:

Can you try installing Jamba-0.4f and see if that helps. You can make sure you have 0.4f installed by typing
/jamba version
Let me know how you get on.
Should he delete the saved variable file also, to be sure?
To be sure, yes.Quote:

d/l'ed and installed 4f last night but WoW was down, I will delete the file before I start playing tonight
which file am I looking for and where?
Do you plan to include an life/mana(/castbar) tracker like XP/Life track already exists?
And do you have an ETA for the 0.5? It seems to be very cool ;)
knowing how ignorant this is gona show i am but i have to ask. In my experence anything that is Automatic/automated is violating TOA. I read the first 10 or so pages and diden't see anyone bring it up. I just wana point out that i think this is the single coolest freeking mod iv ever seen lol and i <3 you for makeing it
Still loving the hell out of Jamba!
I'm not sure if this was suggested before but to me would be VERY useful. At times my bags will fill up on one of my alts and I pick up a quest that has an item. I hit the accept button on the main and run off not even knowing one of my alts didn't get the quest. Then end up having to do the quest again. It would be awesome if Jamba can detect this and let your main window know. Just a suggestion.
Thanks again for all your hard work.
Jamba 0.5 can handle offline characters in the same team without you having to change anything. So you could have one massive team with all your toons in it and Jamba will ignore the offline ones.Quote:

(Jamba 0.5 is also going to have profile support.)

Jamba-Quest 0.5 UI screens have been updated - any thoughts please post in this thread:

Er, not at a machine with WoW on it, so cannot remember the exact location, but I'm sure you've found it already.Quote:

Basically, delete all the Jamba.lua files under the following folder World of Warcraft\WTF
I don't have any plans for life/mana/castbar extensions at the moment. There are enough addons out there that do that already. I would like to revisit in the future, but I need to get Jamba 0.5 out first.Quote:

I've been able to spend more time on Jamba recently, but I can't say when it will be ready.
Jamba's plays in WoWs sandbox, so can only automate that which Blizzard allow.Quote:

Hey Jafula,
First time using Jamba and I am pleased so far. Love you for this mod! One thing, though, well, maybe two. But they're both with the Jamba Team panel.
First, any way to get it smaller? I have several toons with max-length names and trying to get is sized down to something reasonable {for me...I *hate* clutter} ends up cutting off part of the name {fine...unless the names start the same} and the % {annoying}. If I could size down the bars {height, too?} and the text even more, I'd be very happy. Second, I would really, really love to see levels on the Team panel. If there were an option to replace the %'s with current level, that would so rock.
Gods, I hate asking for things, it always feels like I'm telling someone something they did isn't good enough. :(
On the subject of group bugs, my wife is having problems with group invinting. The master will invite the alt, who will join and immediately leave the group. So far the only fix we have found is to disable everything in the jamba-group panel, then manually invite. Even with everything disabled in jamba group, the alt auto accepts, which shouldn't be the case. She's using v0.4f.
It definitely works properly in 0.4f.Quote:

Delete all the Jamba.lua files in WTF/SavedVariables and reconfigure Jamba. Make sure you do this on all WoW installs (and check each account/character).
If you are still having trouble, make sure you are not running other addons that attempt to do the same functionality.
Sweet as. I'll see what I can do (no promises).Quote:

Heh, I'm used to folks asking for stuff, it's nice that you use it, want to improve it and have the nouse to ask for improvements.
Hey Jafula can you make an option with Jamba so I can just hit a button and a hot chick with milk and cookies will show up to my house within 15-30 mins? That'd be super sweet! :DQuote:

Now I see this turning into a full Jamba module. Male/Female, Milk/beer, Cookie/chips/burger, one time/auto-send/daily/weekend and then the maintenance costs. No slave costs nothing, but might be cheaper then a spouse
testing out CCing with the Jamba-Target feature and it works great except for one problem. how do you clear market targets out of the list target? the clear target hotkey clears your current target, it doesnt remove that marked targets from the list. even after you kill the mob, the existing marked target/icon doesnt dissapear and it wont let me mark new targets with the same icons while there is an existing target marked?
its probably something really obvious im missing, or im sure this would have been commented on before :D
