So I was turning in some quests in Icecrown on this small ledge very high up on a cliff. When my 5 shaman came in to land an Alliance warlock quickly mounted up and flew away. I thought nothing more of it.
So as I am busy talking to the NPC the warlock comes back and attacks my group solo.
Pro tip: Do not attack people that can knock you back when you are standing on the edge of a very high cliff.
My usual /facepalm is when I'm grinding heroics, engaging a boss - just to notice that I have two-three paladins stuck somewhere else :P
Doing the quest where you have to fight the clone of yourself on the big mountain north in howling fjords.
There you recieve the slowfall buff. Did the quest, all 5 got completed, jumped down, 4 died :-)
I had a macro facepalm in my first real instance with my team:
I used cast sequence with a reset=target.... on the first boss I died because the sequence ran out of spells and my dps just stood there doing nothing, lol
mmm I have more then ones forgot to turn on keybroadcasting in arena.. ^^ I was constantly getting verbally abused by other teams so i had to talk back a bit.. this was in late S2 i think and i was pretty new to arenas. well it ended swift. :P
My facepalm moment happened yesterday when we(2x 5boxers) were wiping like 10 times at Grobbulus because of a nasty green cloud going off in the middle of the grp 1 sec after the toon had been infected..
Well we tried it till I realised I was dropping a cleansing totem everytime :/ Killed him after removing the totem -.-
OMG, this reminds me of my facepalm moment in a "single player" raid when I wiped the raid by dispelling it on a mage whilst he was standing in the middle of the other ranged dps :)Quote:

Was questing in the Storm Peaks just now... the place got a million phase zones I swear! Didn't notice that my shaman's stopped following while going through one, landed on my main and dismounted to enter a building... 3 shamans going doooooooown... doh!
