i don't really know what to say other than that :P
ok i cant figure out how to use the commands for the add on. I dont understannd what i need to type in to follow. i see /jamba-follow master <tag> but i dont no how to use that to get my other toon to follow me
i have me main already set up as master so i dont no what im doing worng
can someone tell me exactly what to type in plz
In Jamba, a toons has tags. By default every toon has the "all" tag. When you issue a command in Jamba, you can use which toons see that command by using tags.Quote:

In your case, to get your other toons to follow the master, use:
/jamba-follow master all
Hi Jafula, any news on the 0.5 update ? are you waiting for 3.1 to be released ?
thax
Hi Jafula,
I have a question about Jamba focus. I have Set Focus to Master when changing Master set. I also have tried using the /jamba setmeasmaster all and /jamba setfocusmaster all and /jamba setfocus NAME all. NAME being my master's name. All 4 of those cause my slaves to report back that their focus is my Master but none of them actually set their focus. Also macros like /assist focus or /target focus do not work.
All I want is for my slaves to Set the Master as focus and then assist focus. Now I did make a normal macro with my Master's name, but sometimes I change masters so using Jamba to set the master as focus would be best.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
Thanks!
Yes news I cant waitQuote:

However I do not know the /command for reporting spam, which i'd prefer over ignoring. At least most of the time.
Jafula, you rock! I use WowMatrix to update my addons, and i just noticed that version 0.4d showed up there for an update. Thanks a bunch for this addon, and thanks for making it easy to update now.
Haha. Well, it was not me. Cheeky. I was waiting until 0.5 to do that. Still, I'm surprised it took someone this long to do this. If it works, it works...Quote:

Not good. I am holiday and cannot update Jamba until May. This means that when 3.1 comes and if Jamba breaks, I'm not going to be in a position to help. Hopefully other mod developers might step in and send me any fixes they do...Quote:

Addons cannot set focus for you. The best I can do, is get the addon to make a macro that does set the focus and a keybind to that macro.Quote:

So when you see the messages from the slaves saying that the focus is the master, then you need to press the key you assigned to Jamba Focus in the WoW keybind menu (make sure you broadcast this key to all your instances of WoW). Please note that focus changing does not work in combat. You will have to wait until you are out of combat and try again.
Hi Jafula,
thanks for this awsome addon. Using it for about a week now and cant imagine to play ever without it.
I found another addon, which combined to jamba would rock. I'm talking about JasonQuest. The author stopped developing last november. So it might be possible to use his code.
Just to mirror the toons quests to the booster and keep them tracked.
Thanks!
/target Jafula
/bow
What, jamba doesn't actually play for you all the other 4 toons ? damn... not as great as I heard it was...Quote:

j/k: Jamba is the awesomest addon ever for boxers !!!
strobe command doesn't really work either... not sure if the update 'f-ed me up or what. Still have to use just /focus Toon for macros as it is the only thing that will work.Quote:

Suggestions?
Does the push to characters button only push that one page, or all settings? It appears to push just the current settings page, which is expected behavior. I'd like, though, a "push all settings from all pages" button, to make sure all settings are perfectly matched.Quote:

As for the health or XP being blank on other party members, I've noticed that as well, but it fixes itself after the party member takes damage or gets XP.
I see a lot of requests here for making Jamba into unit frames, but I'd hope you can avoid the temptation. Let people use RAID leader add-ons, there are plenty of man hours invested in those. Hopefully you can stay focused on the pieces there aren't other mods for, so there's time to add the features that really don't exist anywhere else.
One big example from another thread today is party inventory management:
Important:
- leader can see "party" bag
- allow leader to dump contents of own bag to party member bags
- allow leader to get contents of party member bag back to own bag
- from the leader, trade items from toon to toon
- from the leader, tell a toon to equip an item
Nice to have:
- class/usability coloring (click party toon icon, color items in bag red if out of class or level)
- hook into PAWN and show if any items in bags represent an upgrade for an equipment slot on a party member (outline upgrades in gold)
- in the upgrade mode, show the overall PAWN score for each toon, so you know which one should get the upgrade
This last item would really reduce time consuming equipment decisions when leveling a mixed team. After configuring PAWN with the stats weights, one will see easily if there are drops that are upgrades.
Thank you, Jafula, for an extraordinarily useful add on.
Jafula,
How is everything looking for 3.1 considering it is confirmed for tomorrow? Everything still work?
When I'm in a fight, I'm usually bashing my DPS button at the rate of about 4 or 5 times per second.
However, I'm noticing that on my main toon, for literally minutes after the fight has finished, i'm seeing messages like this in white, in the main chat box on my main
ToonName: item is not ready yet
ToonName: spell is not ready yet
ToonName: spell is not ready yet
ToonName: spell is not ready yet
ToonName: I can't do that yet
ToonName: spell is not ready yet
ToonName: item is not ready yet
ToonName: spell is not ready yet
ToonName: spell is not ready yet
...
and so on, where "ToonName" is the name of one of my slaves.
I unchecked the "forward errors" and "forward warnings" in Jamba-comms, and pushed to all toons, but I'm still seeing these messages (which must use a fair amount of bandwidth - perhaps it explains the times I've had about a 30-second delay when switching master?).
While writing this post, I just realised that I only ever see the name of one of my 4 slaves in the above messages, so maybe it's just a setting on that one toon - can you suggest what I need to check? Is it those Jamba-comms settings I mentioned above?
Why are both of these options combined into one configuration checkbox: accept all quests from questgivers and accept all shared quests. Is it possible to separate out this functionality? I have a nice macro to accept the shared quests so I can turn this off, but it would be nice to have it accept shares automatically.
Also, it is very unintuitive to figure out which boxes to uncheck to stop the error/warning spam from all toons in the chat window. I unchecked probably 6 boxes through all the different options panes before getting it to stop. I really have no idea what all those things do. Multiboxer puts those errors in the team frame which is very nice.
Thanks,
-K
Nvm :S
Since the patch is anyone having an issue where it automatically declines group invitations from your team members?
Was just getting ready to post this, auto join is not working any more.Quote:

Yeap, have to disable jamba to get the group together. Haven't tried reenabling it after though.
Turning off all the auto accept options in Jamba group will allow you to manually click the accept for a group invite. Haven't tried testing any of the other functionality out though.Quote:

Definitely something weird going on. I disabled Jamba entirely because I have an "accept invite" in my "big party button" and that was also declined.
Oat, could you explain in more detail about the friends thing? I have my leader in individual friend's list to help easy mail with a funny ø but that didn't seem to help. Not being able to party easy really sucks.
not much to explain.. i have a jamba-invite macro that wont work if they are friended in this 3.1 patch. If i remove them from friends it wont auto accept invite but it wont decline it either so its easier... not fixed but easier.
Yeah my jamba is broken :( i cant invite anyone lol.
SAAAAAVEEEEEEE UUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSS
I found that if I rapidly spam the key, it works.... but yeah, we need some help here!!! I can't box without jamba!!!
QFT - spam your party invite button and they'll all join up after 5-6 seconds.Quote:

Jamba is going on a much needed Furlough
Jamba will NOT be updated in time for 3.1.
the way i did it was, hit my jamba invite macro, then hit my accept grp, trade etc macro a split second after, worked
This is a classic example of why you should never rely on an addon. :)
I know, now nobody who uses it can ever play, again!Quote:

Haha Thanks for the spamming the invite key tip sounds crazy but it works!
its a bug in 3.1, hiding the party popup right after doing an AcceptGroup() causes you to decline the group invite. For now here is my temp fix until Jafula comes back, edit the file Jamba\Modules\JambaGroup.lua, go down to around line 530 and comment out the hidePopup = true; line. it will look like this:
-- Accept the group invite if allowed.
if acceptInvite then
AcceptGroup()
--hidePopup = true;
else
-- Otherwise decline the invite if permitted.
if autoDecline then
DeclineGroup()
hidePopup = true;
end
end
just add -- to the line after AcceptGroup() ==> --hidePopup = true;
You will still have the ugly party invite group on your screen, you can do the regular macro to accept-all to get rid of it or it'll go away after a few mins. Unless Blizzard fixes this bug the only real fix is to fire an event like 3 secs later to hide the window, instead of doing it a few lines down.
This is a temporary fix for Jamba 0.4d (the version name is still 0.4d, but it is a changed addon!):
http://www.wow-multiboxing.com/files/Jamba.zip
Changes:
- changed TOC version so it doesn't get marked as an out-of-date macro
- diggla's temporary fix that hides the group invite popup as it should
