I leveled 88 and 89 killing the water elementals inside the jade temple. Not the dungeon, but the instanced version you enter while questing. I believe you need to be on this quest chain to enter http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29931
I was getting 5.3m xp per hour when going full speed with guild banner down using a 4 man group. Mote drop is good and not a lot of competition since only other ppl on the quest can enter the area.
I colect mount and there's one in Vale of Eternal Blossom, which requieres 10 Skyshards, which only drop in this zone. I want to lvl for those shards with my 5-men lvl 86 team but can't find a good spot, all mobs seem to be phased. Someone knows a good spot?
Grinded here with 5 shaman today for an hour with about 5-7 minutes of messing around with pvp(which I engaged) and easily hit 5.5 million withou having to move a single toon. Also got endless grey drops with about 16 motes.Quote:

That's great xp out of an instance. I definitely missed that on my shaman - finished the quest line. I'm kinda glad I did the questing route on my first team though, just to get familiar with the zones and start off with 30-50k extra gold at 90, at 440ish ilvl, which I guess I"ll just be replacing but oh well. My second team will definitely take advantage of that one :)
Hope this one sticks around, every awesome grind spot (starting with AV on day one) has been nerfed sooo fast. By the time I got my xpacs (Saturday) the only one I knew of was stormstout brewery but it's not as mindless as a good uninstanced grind, they drop zero loot and you can screw up the pull pretty easily and wipe.
Depending on your comp.... yes it is. I can do it in 2 mins on my dk team and its about 200k exp. So 1 mill per 10 mins, or 200 mins per level or so.Quote:

Went back again today after hitting 88. With rested, I am getting almost 7.5 million an hour per toon. This is entirely by spamming chain lightning and "tab" at the same time. Dont have to move at all, just the occasional thunderstorm if mana is getting low and Ancestral Guidance on one toon at a time topps everyone off.
Chain Lightning just shines here.
To Remanz: I have only grinded here on 3 seperate times with about 1.5 hours max each time.......fingers start too hurt.
Need a new place for SoH... seems the turtles have been hotfixed to have horrid drop rates not to mention its not easy to farm with a non-dot class.
Sprites in kun-lai have also been fixed.
I had a good spot for MoHs...leather..ore and herbs with a golden lotus spawn every 15-20 mins.. i was there for 3 hours tonight and not one golden lotus. I think they are nerfing any areas that have high spawn rates of anything rare. On a good note, my main 5 are revered with tillers and have 12 plots to farm http://www.wowhead.com/item=89233. So its one SoH per day atm each toon.
Tillers revered, Motes of harmony crops, trade for golden lotus... cash up!! OR, the vegetables used for the BiS stat foods sell for a fair amount on the AH, they are a decent money maker. Juicycrunch carrots and mogu pumpkins go for 10g EACH.Quote:

Yeah, my tank who is a herbalist and miner has 140 motes lol. The rest of the team has much fewer. It is only now that I am needing them for the inscription staff that I am kicking myself lolQuote:

It was non stop spawning.. i had 10-15 on me almost all the time. If you go to the top, there are spawns to the left and right and the ones coming up the steps come in waves, with very minor breaks..seconds.. just enough time to loot..then its all crazy again!Quote:

I have not had the quest again, not sure what its called.. I looked up golden lotus quests on wowhead.. can't seem to find..there are so many. But its very easy to know if you have done it or get it in the future. Its those same little sprites you kill that set fire to the town..but a different quest. They are running up a pathway next to the Inn carrying barrels, the quest is to get 10 barrels. You kill them and they drop the barrels for you to loot. IF you follow them up the stairs, you will see a statue on the first landing half way up. Thats a great spot if not many people are there. Patrols of lvl 90 elites spawn pretty quickly and come out of the cave and continue down the path. I took a potion of luck and my five ele shamans and farmed for an hour. This is what I got:
500g
43 Motes of Harmony
29 Greens
320 windwool cloth
8 ghost iron ore
2 white trillium ore
16 black trillium ore
10 Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Keys. (I am told these are worth hanging onto but haven't researched why yet)
And various random grey which I have yet to sell.
As a bonus, each kill gives 11 Rep with the Black Prince up to honored.
There is a quest I almost did which should be avoided if you want to farm these guys. I forget the name but it was a golden Lotus quest where an npc rogue hits you with his aoe stealth and sneakes you up this cave so you can plant a bombs and seal the cave. If you hand in this quest, these mobs will no be available to you anymore as you will enter a different phase. They may be available elsehwere, I do not know.
PS. The mob in the back of the line is a mage and he hurts, kill him first. Hope this helped.
If you have done the first golden lotus quests.. you can no longer do this. This is the phased part before you seal off the cave. those keys open chests that give you random tradeskill mats/motes or whole spirits of harmony and a rep item that is blue or epic.one gives 140ish rep with GL and the epic gives 400+. the keys are rare drops off any mobs in the zone.. if you got 10 in one hour.. thats awesome!Quote:

When i did the quest.. i failed to read that i was supposed to follow the npc and stay in his stealth bubble.. so i was killing the mobs and got a lot of loot before I realized what i should be doing. But at the end when the cave closes, I remember wishing i had known the mobs would be gone forever..because its definitely a non stop supply of 'waves' of mobs. I will do other factions first with my next team and farm the crap out of this spot as well 8)Quote:

Seems like best idea is having your teams farm rep with different factions until at least revered, then move everyone over to tillers.
