you have to see it that way, 5x high warlord in CV=instant new job/wife

Man I need to make a decsion on weather I will swap to Classic and go for that or stay on retail....
I cant achieve alot of I play casually classic in itself was an insane time so trying to get 5 characters on classic to 60 would be the hardest thing
My personal goal will probably be not cursing out loud at the other people camping the furbolg quest spawns in Winterspring.
Honestly, just hitting 60 and maybe seeing endgame content is the personal goal.
Same here just hitting 60 and maybe seeing endgame content is the personal goal. But I am not going to be going hard core into Classic just going in as a casual lol well that's the plan have to wait and see.
lol I do that all ready in retail .
HAHA, thing is wife plays WoW too, agree about job...
High warlord (as horde) on 5 chars would bring hell. Means reaching 60 fast! and grinding that AV for hours!
I can't wait for classic! because 5x is plenty to box and have fun, sure the process will take time and it be hard, But what about if you just grind high level mobs to get good XP, problem is, gear, maybe 5 levels of grind and 5 levels of getting geared.
My Class probably will be 5 Warlocks, leveling as demo, I'm bouncing between locks or Shamans
If you're going to grind mobs to level as a boxer you might as well grind elite mobs inside dungeons. Complete dungeon quests while you're there, get more drops and you can reset the instance whenever you want. Keeps you geared as you level so you can move on to the next dungeon. That's how I do it.
You have to remember most quest items in vanilla are not shared with party and the volume of items required for each quest is usually higher. Collecting 15 crocodile wings will take hours on 5 characters even if you're lucky and there are no other players competing for mobs.
Also, if you go with warlocks you'll want to add one healer to that mix so you can do dungeons. 4 Warlocks and a priest is going to be a much stronger comp than 5 warlocks. Holy priest with spirit of redemption and soulstone is pretty potent. Heal until you die, 10 seconds of free healing, resurrect, die again, 10 more seconds of free healing.
Priests also get prayer of healing which heals your entire party plus their pets at the same time (9 targets.) No other heal does that. Pretty useful when you're voidwalker tanking dungeons.
dude, stop posting 5man comp ideas :D
I am having too hard of a time deciding.
if you did run 4 locks and holy priest, could you soulstone 4x through the fight?
Lock1 to Hpriest Soulstone
Priest dies
Priest resurrects
Lock2 to Hpriest Soulstone (mid fight)
Priest dies
Priest resurrects
rinse repeat
or was there a cooldown? or combat restrictions?
Duration and cooldown of soulstones is 15 minutes. There was no limit on how often a character could be soulstoned outside of the cooldown on each warlocks soulstone. Using a soulstone required a hard cast though so you'd have to be careful not to be interrupted on the casting warlock.
Once you're geared enough that your priest doesn't need to be full holy spec anymore you can even hybrid shadow enough for shadow weaving and just spam rank 1 shadow word: pain between heals to keep up a further 15% shadow debuff.
10% curse of shadow
20% from imp. shadow bolt
15% from demonic sacrifice or 10% from shadow mastery depending if you spec DS/Ruin or SM/Ruin.
15% from shadow weaving
55/60% shadow damage.
Though you'd really want a paladin or shaman in your group at this point for threat reduction because the threat from shadowbolt is pretty nuts.
I've cleared all vanilla dungeons using this group. Sometimes managing pet tanks is a bit of a pain but it's definitely viable and it's also a solid PvP group.
