[Classic] Hard Personal Goals?

Have any personal hardmode goals?

Some thoughts:

5 Deathcharger's Reins?

5 Scarab Lords?

5 enhancement shammys with 5 Thekal's grasps?

Oh man I forgot mounts in classic were not bound to account.

I'd say Scarab Lord would be my challenge, as I don't have it on retail.

You cant get Scarab lord on 5 characters, its 1 person per server and its the person who hits the GONG first.

Then there is a time frame after that who ever rings the gong will get the title but no mount

I would highly suggest if you have never farmed or tried to go for scarab lord that you have a look at the below video as a very very high level understanding of what needs to happen

The title Scarab Lord and the Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal (a.k.a. "black bug mount") are obtained by completing Bang a Gong! The first player realm-wide to complete the quest opens the gates of Ahn'Qiraj. More than one player per realm may still complete the quest and receive both title and mount, provided they do so within ten hours of the gates opening.


I recall on my original server that we had 2 or 3 Scarab Lords with the mounts.

Agree with Kruschpak. About the closest I can think of would be picking up multiple Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros if melee teams are viable. You'd need two raid items but MC is easy even as a boxer and the rest can be farmed or bought in the AH. Probably doable and the weapon stays viable right to the end of vanilla.

If we do end up setting up a boxing guild we'll have to figure out an EPGP system or something to distribute stuff fairly.

as much as I love melee shamans in vanilla, i still think for boxing elemental is way more fun unless you have a dedicate dispeller and a healer in your back. And in that regard the ultimate goal would be getting 5/5 zul gurub set for 41 yard range on lightning bolt to outrange all the other casters and that aq20 boe shield to counter aoe bombing. Unlike the eye of ragnaros, these are quite doable goals if you dont bother playing resto shaman in raids and its gonna be amazing for pvp.

that would be really cool but we would have to play real pve dps classes and keep the shamans resto else its gonna be a pain running raids with ~20 ele shamans xD the good thing is stacking frost mages works flawlessly for MC/bwl and they're easy to box

Man I need to make a decsion on weather I will swap to Classic and go for that or stay on retail....

I cant achieve alot of I play casually classic in itself was an insane time so trying to get 5 characters on classic to 60 would be the hardest thing
