WotLK Heroic Achievement advice wanted! (5 pallys)

Yea kinda tryin to stick solo on this set of toons since I've come this far already and I like to achievement spam my guildies lol they're mighty proud of me for getting so far :) solo as it were. I've come so far as to get moorabi to 6 k hps and missed the last interrupt so I know its doable just have to do Better lol.

I already have my druid tank 3 dk dps team that got glory of the hero with a heals pug but now I'm doing my second team(the pallys :)_) solo just for me hehehe.

I'm after abuse the ooze next, my strategy thinking is to make macros to spam heal and then target the caster adds, running in to the center where the boss is and sendin two rets left and two right with a strafe keybind then lettin them kill the adds on the sides and the tank basically dmgin the boss till 40 percent or so and from there just finishing off the oozez by ranged taunts and exorcism shots lol hopefully I'll be able to manage all that and heal my tank the whole time too lol

What's wrong with just beating the boss down low and then dragging him around to the oozes with your dps in tow?

The HUGE amount of aoe dmg the boss does woulg be that answer :|

Now for my update! :) I managed to get less rabi down last night in an exciting 2 attempts, the first attempt I pulled moorabi and forgot that my arcane torrent was still on cooldown. So I reset him and waited it out then the cards just drew right And he died without casting! Yay for timing lol so I got it and now I have only one more left til gloryhole of the hero! Lol abuse the ooze is all that's left! Yay!


I'm guessing I MIGHT have to gear a toon as healer for this one lol last time I tried it the rets just ran out of mana healing too much. Meh will have to figure the ins and outs after a few more attempts tonight

Silly stupid question, but are you moving out of his AOE when it does it? (HOS boss) I am pretty sure he stands still and does his AOE, so if you tank him >15 yards from the middle, then when he does his AOE, you can just move away from him to help lower damage. The oozes (just remembering, not proof), just take time to join together? Or is there more to it. I remember that it just took time for them to join together (buff up, or grow whatever you want to call it). Then just have to count out how many you do, so you don't drag out the fight too long. Yeah, it is healing intensive though. I am 95% PVP on my pallies, so I put on a holy light glyph so I get splash healing. If glyphs are easy to change out and it helps, might be something that might help.

I am just curious, other than boss wanting to destroy the next person in line after the tank gets impaled, what is so bad about the share the love? Is it that impale is a lot of damage or something. Or is it that boss gets pissed later in the fight, so he is doing crazy damage? Or what? What is the big deal about spreading out on him?

in response to your question, he does a nasty ww that adds a stacking dot, you aren't in melee range because of this, thus you're not getting "free instant" heals and mana regen via attacks. He does a random knockback for a good chunk of dmg, and then there's the randomness of the share the love taunt/impale mechanic. It took only one try to do it, tho my pallys are pretty well geared. It was luck imo, if i tried it again i would prolly wipe over and over. The good part about that achievment is its NOT a dps race, so i probably (if i had them geared for it) could have had 2 tanks and 3 holy and just ranged pewpew(ie pally taunt, exorcism, judgements) and gotten him down low enough and then just taunted around on the impales. Its easy enough i guess hehe.

As for the last of my achievements, i've been brainstorming a ton lately and have decided its probably best to just wait it out and farm the 25 k gold before i actually even attempt this last one. This will give me more incentive to want to do it via the mount reward lol :D plus if i time it right and all i can mega guild spam which is always fun for me lol
