WotLK Heroic Achievement advice wanted! (5 pallys)

So I've finally gotten my pallys geared a decent amount, and have completed almost every single glory of the hero achievement needed except for these last three:

Share the Love: Gundrak - get everyone impaled by his rhino horns!

Abuse the Ooze: Halls of Stone - wait for a while and kill 5 of those ooze thingers

Less Rabi: Gundrak (this one is an execution fight and i've not had many troubles with the attempts i've had, just haven't REALLY tried to do it on my paladins...yet)


Anyone running this comp able to give some advice on what i can do to actually get this stuff down ? My current set up is Prot 4 ret, they're all around 4800 ish gs with battered hilts for weapons and 4 pc t9 (im pretty close to getting the second piece of tier 10 so i'll be able to have more divine storms but thats a few days away yet). My initial thought was to try and run these achievements by gearing one of my toons as a healer but im TERRIBLE at healing and dpsing all at once, but i DID have another thought

What if i made 2 of my pallys prot, with badge /crafted gear i could get one of them a decent prot set that would allow them to survive marginally, and the other 3 geared in half holy half ret /pvp gear? then i can beacon everyone in the group and just spam heals and taunts around and holy shock the boss till he gets low enough and impales(ie dps from ranged)

My idea here would be that even if i had my rets dps as dps spec every time i've ever tried this achievement on any of my solo toons we over dps'd the boss anyway and were standing around watching /waiting until he did his thing then burst him down after. I got this idea from when i used to kill "whirlwinding" bosses from ranged with my dks when they were frost lol

any other ideas/strats /macros/tactics come to mind ?

No interrupts no luck- especially for Moorabi. I run a paladin tank and 4 druids so I have no interrupts either- Moorabi is impossible without 2 classes that can interrupt. Tried it with my 80 rogue replacing one of my druids DPS and still wasn't enough. You need 2 solid interrupters.

Share the love you need 2 tanks and lots of luck.

Abuse the ooze just do what it says lol.

lol bump for useful suggestions perhaps some brilliant "you can do this with your pally bubbles or something !"

I know HOW each achievement is to be done, looking for perhaps some insightful ideas on how to accomplish it with 5 bloodelf pallys ( lessrabi is easily done with arcane torrent on rotation, just havent gotten down to slamming it out)

Damn BELF with actual useful racials I forget sometimes not everyone is Alliance!

Wish I had some more err useful advice for ya. Maybe check out Youtube to give you some ideas- just put the achievement name in the search. Really don't think there's much of a trick or anything special you can do with 5 pallies that you wouldn't already think of. Like making sure the lightning debuffs are off during Abuse the Ooze.

Well yea that's what you get for being alliance scum... Useless..... Racials? Lol <3

I knocked out the share the love with an exciting strat that had me sweating bullets, but I one shot it so mad props to my skills lol. Twas a hectic fight, I lost all but my tank and one dps who died at the very end to the bleed after killing the boss! I set my 4 rets out 15 yards and taunt rotated and just ranged killed the boss lol then got REALLY lucky with some kiting and taunting from max range with the last two pallys at the end lol all in all it was a tricky achievment but do-able. Had I made a few other mAcros and played with a couple more attempts I could have done it much easier. When I get home will post my strategys for everyone .

Now alls left will be to finish actually getting my timing straight for less rabi and then it will be time to do the last for abuse the ooze and my glory of the hero! Lol maybe I should farm up 25k gold so I can use my drakes first lolol

on the less'orabi... I thought stun would interrupt the cast. (i havent gotten the acheivment due to lack of attempts..)
but what I did was set up 5 different buttons *bartender helps* and when u click first.. only first pally stuns/belf special. then 2nd button only 2nd toon does.
but of course if your not blood-elf and the stun(Hammer of Justice) does not work then sol =/

share the love... spec all tank spec? LOL.. I am not sure. wouldn't seem to hard unless you ran oom from healing for ever.
(haven't tried this one but when I do.. ill try to give some pointers..)

and Abuse the ooze.. just prolong the fight? (use seal of lights or low dps / and don't run around to much)

Respect your elders, hmm I forget offhand which one that is and I'm writing this from my cell phone internet while I poop at work, so don't have lots of time to look it up. If its the first boss in old kingdom where the guardian spawns check page seven of the glory of the hero tips and tricks sticky at the top of this forum, I just posted my strat for that one a little bit ago, basically just pull her all the way out to balcony, slow dps til 50% then huge burst to kill her the last 50 before the guardian spawns, using the pally taunts makes for good extra burst just have one key for the 4 rets and 1 for the tank and have rets taunt first then your tank while you burn it, takes some luck but only took me 3 tries

GL with the achievs. Just spec 3 prot and 2 holy for share the love i guess, easiest way to make it a long fight.

Got share the love now only two more to go, need to get Less rabi down which should be fairly easy just an execution is key run. Then its will be abuse the ooze is all that's left. I'm going to spec 3 holy and 2 prot for this one maybe and just holy shock exorcism consecrate dps. And heal spam lol. My internet is out at home atm so as soon as a t and t gets my net up I'll be back to tryin for these last two achievment!

While I am a 4boxer (Blood DK tank, 3 rets), I just completed the whole thing today (ironically). I have a friend that is my dedicated healer.

It sounds like you don't want to bring anyone in, and actually 5box solo the rest.

However, for Less-rabi, my druid healer went dps. It took us about 10 real attempts.

2 were close 4% and 1%; however, the kill I used a slightly different strat.

DK - used army and ghoul

pallys, I used seal of righteousness (better burst, since the fight lasts for like 25seconds)

make sure trinkets are equipped to trinket the stun.

everyone was flasked.

wings @ 60-50%

after the 2nd trans about 30%, after 1-2 seconds, I just spammed my round robin arcane torrents (3 of them, druid took first interrupt). Got it off, dead.

Again, not a 5boxer, but hope it helps
