The fastest way is to 5 man quest to 60, you should try it some day... after you actually reach some sort of level cap maybe you can advise other people on how to get there... instead of theory crafting...
Instance boosting ("not working as intended") is faster then Questing, sry.
Also the beauty of my method is that that from 30-60 you only need to instance boost TWO toons, not four or five. So exp is about double from 30-60 for the two as compared to four.
You cannot quest 5 toons from level 30-60 FASTER then instance boosting TWO toons from level 30-60, with a level 70 or 80.
My point I guess is I got 2 full teams plus a bunch of others toons > level 60, easily in 3 months of raf questing and most of your characters are in the low 40s after 2 RAFs so I don't think anything you can say about "fastest method" has any value. I am under the impression that you can grant levels that you gained by any means, including having those levels granted to you.

Mercurio's Alliance Boosting 4 Toons with a 70 vs. Leveling 5 at once
Leveling 5 at once: 0-60 in 2 days, 4 hours /played
Boosting 4 toons with a 70: 0-60 in 16 hours, 2 minutes /played
Details of boosting:
1-15: Boosted other 4 with my 70 hunter for run speed boost (questing)
16-20: Stockades boosting with my 70 pally
20-45: SM Cath with my 70 pally (tried ZF, Temple, SM was still way faster from 40-45)
45-59.98: Strat undead side with my 70 pally
59.98 - 60.98: granted one level from 2 of my 4 boostees (after dinging them 60 seperately) to the other two
You gain more exp on each individual toon by having more people in a group when power leveling with an 80(/70/high level character) in group, so you may as well level all 4 to 60. I haven't personally verified if this is true since 3.0, but it's not like Sam tested his theory either. Aside from the added costs of doing this compared to a more standard approach this is the only reason to not use this method.
You can grant 30 levels from one character. I have personally done this using my own raf and it is said in the official faq.
I have also read that you can grant from gifted levels, but I haven't verified this either personally or with an official source.
Aside from the few gifted levels from A to original, is there any reason they need to be linked?
When you transfer a toon you lose all of the levels they could have granted. This is from the official faq. There isn't any problem with this, I just thought I'd mention it in case someone was wondering.
I have 1 day 3 hours and change on my first attempt at boosting to 60 with raf, and this was not even close to an ideal method. Mercurio's 16 hours looks like a good time to try to beat if you want to try to start saying questing is faster than boosting, but then again this was with a 70 and it might be less now.
Information doesn't change based on who it's from. Sam may be horrible at leveling but that doesn't change whether his advice on the subject is good or bad.
No attention whoring or posting pure flamebait. Once you've actually RAF'd a team (or more) to a respectable level (60+), then maybe you can start giving advice the general community would find useful, until then you're posting nothing new and only trying to draw attention to yourself.
