3-Boxing Class Suggestions for PVP? Mages do ok?

I do some 3v3 with my shammys but i cant seem to get it out of the 1500 bracket atm, and you need to move in really fast or else 1 will be cced forever and you basicly play 2v3.

What i normaly do is to pop heroisem just before the gate opens, rush straight into them drope 3 fire nova totems and chainlighe + NS + Shock someone, and then i stack up totems and heal up. If i kill somone on my rush i normaly win easily. Just have to look out for fear classes.. But in 3v3 its not that common as in 5v5.. so many games will be like rogue mage and resto drood etc..

Personaly id say that go for 4 shammys and get a solo healer for 5v5. If you wanna try 3v3 i think that 2 BM/survival hunter + a rest drood as a main would own nicely. You can station out your hunter so they have range, and you kite around with yor druid as you would allways do, pets can easily be controled from your druid while moving, and hunters can add viper stings at all time on opponent healers, and you drian them down while kiting... I dont know.. but the idea feels so doabol :D

This is until you run the RWD and they WTF PWD your face in 3v3. The 5v5 with a priest/pally is so much more viable.

I would go for the shamans 2 elemental and 1 chain heal spammer

Out of my 70s I dislike PvP with my mage the most. Sure if I can get ahold of a Rogue that is out of stealth and by himself or a lone Warrior but past that unless you get a good POM+PYRO off you are screwed. And if you are a Pom/Pyro you are giving up the benefits of frost.

Usually the best I can hope fore is that my Water Elemental distracts them long enough for me to get a couple of good FB - Shatter hits, else they pay attention to the Elemental giving me a chance to Invis away.

I do have fun with the mage, don't get me wrong, but they are pretty much cannon fodder if you ask me. Sure every few minutes you can own with Pom/Pyro or if your Deep Frost Water Elemental times how many every, but the rest of the time you are going to want to cry.

Pick your fights well if you are a mage. If you see a lock, priest, or warrior or anyone with an AoE fear running towards you, range freeze them with your pets. If they try to fear with a cast time, you have 3 counterspells at your disposal.

Though usually a rogue of the opposite faction will pick the fight for you and you have to frost nova, blow all 3 blinks, turn around, and 1 shot shatter combo him.

I went up against a well geared well coordinated 5v5 team. (yes my ratings shitty I know lol) I killed them with scorch.

As a multiboxer u instantly have a huge crosshair over your head in BG's cos you truely are the biggest threat, therefore playing 3 mages would get roflpwnt by rogues and druids who can stealth up to you, and without some kind of heals, mages go down fast. I play a mage solo and he goes pretty well in pvp, but mastering 2-5 mages at once would be oh-so tricky. except ofcourse your boom-instant cast really do hurt whoever you have targeted >:D

I'm leveling 3 Nelf hunters with cats. I'm looking forward to trying them in BG when my cats get prowl. Some enemies are in for a surprise when they get jumped by 3 prowling cats followed by 3 hunters popping out of shadowmeld delivering 3 aimed shots followed by 3 arcane shots. I think my tactics will be mostly ambushing people. Not so much running into the middle of big groups of enemies.
