I have my buttons bound to switch PiP and switch party master like Jafula says, but Ive noticed I have to hit the key twice for it to shift the focus. So I have just got in the habit of double tapping the key when I change PiP.Quote:

Verified that each player is checked on all toons. Set leader to master is checked as well, still focuses correctly, but does not set focus as leader or follow focus, still follows Shockershama the main toon.
For all non 'master' toons, I have /focus Shockershama(or b,c,d,e) as the macro. For the toon I want to be leader and followed, I have,
This as my macro, no returns, written exactly as typed (sub the correct name for each toon... so for my 5th toon, Shockershame, this is the macro:
/focus Shockershame /jamba setmeasmaster all /jamba-follow master all
bound to the corresponding key... 1 for shama, 2 for shamb..etc to 5.
When I hit the desired key, it focuses, but does not follow, and still follows shamA.
I have a seperate follow macro bound to 'G' /jamba-follow master all
Suggestions?
All your toons have the "all" tag don't they?Quote:

I have been thinking about this some more; and I noticed that my follow macro is not on my set master macro. Perhaps the logic is getting mixed up here internally in Jamba and the master change has not happened when the follow command is issued. I cannot see how this would be the case, but I'll try you macro method with my toons and see what happens...
Could you perhaps try changing the last part of your macro to
/jamba-follow target Shockershame all
and see if that works?
So IN combat pauses for toons who have the tag "pausestrobe" without any keypress right?Quote:

Yes, without a keypress, it will stop strobing the /follow command. (And start strobing the /follow command when combat ends.)Quote:

But it won't actually stop any toons from following (you'll need a keypress to do that).
Thx!!
hmm i was really excited to get this working, but it didn't play nicely with keyclone. For some reason it wasn't passing keys when I had it installed, so I had to remove it =(
I got it to work!!! with my 5 priest team, apparently I needed to check everything in the Switch area.
However, I do notice it takes a bit for some of the last 3 toons to follow the leader, and some follow the previous leader, who follows the current leader. But I"m happy nonetheless. Thanks.
Fixed the lag problem, unchecking, set target as master did it, thanks WOOOHOOOOOO... after spending a week on the FTL system to no avail, I was about to give up until olips told me about the hydra system and linked me there. Thanks for keeping my 5s teams alive :)Quote:

Really? There is nothing in Jamba (or any wow addon) that could mess with an external program. Bizarre.Quote:

Hmmm, unchecking the set target as master solved your problem? Wow. Anyway, I'm glad it is working for you now. :thumbup:Quote:

Wow, I missed this post with the time problem. Thanks for reporting these issues. I'll have a look at them for you. I'll try to find out what is causing the not master on combat spam, and look a bit more closely at the follow code.Quote:

Can you add something like :
/jamba edit-macro <name> <tag> <content> Who edit the macro with the name specified for all toons with the tag.
The goal is to make on all of the toons, a bind to a "jamba-dynamic-macro" on a single key.
And on the main character, make a bar of button full of macro for non-combat stuff (buffing, emote, mount, invoc food ...)
Then the main will just have to click on the action he want (instead of binding and wasting a key to a non-critical action) and use the unique key binded to the "jamba-dynamic-macro".
Yes, you have the idea. I have wanted a command centre for a long time, where you could set up a few key binds, and change them just on one toon and have the other toons update these settings. Macros are it. This is cool and I like it, you have the right idea. I'd rather you set up a whole lot of macros already, then just choose one, and press the special key and it happens, rather than the command line option.Quote:

It's something I have wanted to do for a while, hopefully I can get it done sooner rather than later.
Hm, I experienced the forwarding to .. another player, that wasn't even on my trust list once again. It had something to do with master change, but not sure of the order or anything, cause I were in a hurry. Maybe you could check, if there's any flaws, which allows it to send to people not on the trust list? It's weird!
Is there a way that I can turn off the messages on my hud? Am I missing this option somewhere in Jamba? If not could it be added on a future release? The messages in my chat window works fine for me.
Thanks.
You mean like "Teetoe is not targeting you!"? Those messages? Several of the sections have different options but you may want to look under Jamba - Me for a few that are default.
No, i Know about those options. I want to be able to turn the big red letters off that are in the middle of my game screen.Quote:

In the Jamba option, there is a warning tab. In that tab, there is a send warnings to raid warning option (cannot remember the exact wording). Uncheck this box and the big red text will go away.Quote:

I'm a little late to this party, but I just installed Jamba last night and I'm really liking it. I have a few questions/suggestions, apologies if I'm just being dense.
- Is there a list anywhere of /slash commands Jamba supports? I don't see one on your site. In particular setting up a new group would go a lot faster if I could type /jamba master [name] once with key duplication on.
- Group invites -- Unless I'm just missing something, this is a bit awkward, as I have to bring up the jamba window and click the button to get the group put together.
- The Jamba status window is interesting, it would be nice if it offered some other functionality other than showing follower XP bars (as many of my toons are 70). Showing rep instead/if tracked would be sweet for those "fun" rep grinds. Also doing group invites via a button in that panel, or a right-click menu item, seems like a good addition. Clicking on a follower toon's follow status icon to toggle follow (or at least turn on follow) would rule.
- Fubar plug in to add a menu to fubar -- this would probably solve both the two above issues I have
- Profiles -- I have several boxing groups, because I have alt-itis ;) Setting up new groups is a little tedious tho as I'm using the same set of options for all my gorups, but these are not the default options. I can work around this by copying stuff around inside the jamba.lua data file but a UI for copying profiles (like Bartender, X-perl, etc) would be better. Granted, I only have to do this stuff once per new boxing group, but I'm OCD and hate it when I miss changing one of the options, only to be puzzled later when behaviors are not as I expect.
- The 'push to followers' is great, but does this push all settings, or just the settings on the page being viewed? If the latter, an option to do a global push for all settings would remove some of the tedium of setting up a new group.
- I haven't seen anything like this go off yet, but it would be nice if followers could inform the master of events like rep levelups (now exalted with Darnassus etc), profession skillups, etc.
- Using a channel for communication with the master rather than whispers seems buggy -- when I tell my toons to do that, they end up leaving the channel instead of joining it (they were already in it before I set up Jamba). I'll try it again tonight to make sure this is what I'm really seeing.
Keep up the great work. Paypal donation incoming ;)
Well, for your group invites.... I just use a 1 button macro.Quote:

First, ensure all your toons are on each others friends list.
Second, ensure all your toons are on your jamba team list (/jamba, team tab, add all toons to this list on each player)
Third, on your main toon, create the following macro: /jamba-group invite
Drag that maco to a bar, one click it, party auto accepts, you're good to go.
I currently use:
/jamba-follow master all
should one of my toons get off of follow.
Is there any way I can temporarily turn off follow with a macro, and then use the above to turn it back on?
I've created a drood, 3xhunter, pally grp, and of course need the pally to go in and the huntards to stay back.
Thanks!
I've noticed on a few servers, the guilds I'm in either have a toon limit or for multiboxing have alt guilds... it would be cool if you could have ToonA's guild chat forwarded to all the other toons so that when you're on another toon you can hear if your guild (or different guild) is asking something.
No list of slash commands yet.Quote:

/jamba-group invite
/jamba-group disband
/jamba-follow target <toonname> <tag>
/jamba-follow master <tag>
To get your characters to follow your master, use the master command above, replace <tag> with "all". You only need to run this command on one toon. I like your idea about the click to follow. I can add options to change the experience bars to rep. Health as well is in the works.
I want to build a command centre; with some of the options you have mentioned. I'm adding a minimap button that will pop up the command centre / options screens.
At the moment, I'm not going to support FuBar or Titan or anything similar.
Profiles I could do, but I'm not too keen on them. Jamba allows you to add all your toons to the team list, and enable the ones that you are going to use for your current session and disable the rest. What about this system do you not like? I like the mix'n'match, all options configured already way Jamba is set up. Tags can be used to differentiate different types of toons. Sure, tweaking to be done.
A global push is probably not going to happen because of the time it takes. A team push already takes too long as it is. Pushing all the settings would take too long for my liking.
You can get the system information (rep level up,etc) , by adding parts of the information phrases to the system messages tab (?) in Jamba Talk. Have a look.
Let me know if the channel sorts itself out.
Thanks for the donation.
No, follow can only be stopped by pressing a movement key, jumping, etc.Quote:

Sure, I think I could add this option in. The guild chat would just get forwarded according to the jamba chat options.Quote:

Love Jamba, thanks for all the work on it.
One tiny issue I have is that the Jamba Team window seems to be set to always be the very top window, getting in the way of my Carbonite map when I open it or even my bags when they open, as you can see in the pics (just in case this isn't default behaviour but an issue at my end).
http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/6...mba1zm2.th.jpghttp://img361.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif
http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/6...mba2pk3.th.jpghttp://img361.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif
Any chance it could "know its place" and stay behind more recently opened windows?
Thanks for the reply on follow... my toons were still following after using movement keys, but like a dummy I forgot my wsad keys were in my keyclone do not pass list, but I do have a basic X formation with pushing F, which solves the problem ;) Thanks!
A minor cosmetic change to Jamba...
When you have characters following the master, and all toons have the flight path window open...
The slaves spam the master with, "Follow Broken", even though they're all taking the same flight.
Very minor, but it would be nice if they did not do this.

Greetings Jafula,
Thank you for making this wonderful addon availabled for the community. I love Jamba! I am still learning step by step and it is making my WOW gaming abit more fun these days.
Thank you and have a wonderful week.
Jafula,
I was about to start expanding the Dual-Boxing.com wiki page for Jamba, but figured I should chat with you first. Would you mind if I go through and start adding the pertinent items from this post to the Wiki? Such as your slash command list and targeting functions.
Go for it. That would be great. I'm slowly updating the docs on my web-site as well.Quote:

Looking great. Im using Jamba (well just started) and the team display showing when autofollow breaks is fabulous, and I assume that it will show HP loss also. Should have been using this from the start. I hope that the merchant thing is as good as SelloMatic. Just knowing when autofollow breaks is a big big help, as is if someone is attacked, better then being sent messages.
Keyclone, Macaroon, Jamba - I'm Sam DeathWalker and I use and approve of these products!
P.S. Ill be sending you $10 soon!
Thanks for the follow and the list of / commands, that helps.
After using it more this weekend this really isn't that big a deal, I just have to remember to set up all the options when I take over with a different toon as master for the first time. Profiles would just let me do that with a single click, but that first run is all the value a profile system would really add (at least for me).Quote:

Rats the Jamba Team listing dosn't show HP, just Exp ...
HP would be 100 times more nicer then Exp. Still the autofollow fail is excellent.
I would imagine HP would be an easy thing...easy to say since I am not doing the work :)Quote:

Either way you could always create a transparent bar with Pitbull and scale it to fit over the experience bar.
