FYI, the answer is Yes! I like to play full screen and toggle through windows using HotkeyNet. Using AutoHotKey I can cut a hole in my top window to see the minimap of the character below thus making it easier to gather minerals and herbs at the same time.

Code:;Window Hole for 1920x1200resolution
#F11::
WinSet, Region, 0-0 1920-0 1920-1200 0-1200 0-0 1670-600 1920-600 1920-900 1670-900 1670-600, Window Title
Nice and creative solution for the window stacking kind : ) Thanks for sharing.
Pretty cool!
That's very cool. I just added rectangular holes to HotkeyNet after seeing this thread.
Hmmm I wonder if yeh could move a bar on an alt make it visible then be able to click on it hmmm
If you click on it then the background window comes forward. BUT!! Hotkeynet has a way to keep the foreground window on top even though another window has focus so this might be possible.Quote:

The latest build of Hotkeynet has the feature to create a window region.
I think the best way is a combination of three things.
1. Keep the main WoW always on top.
2. Punch a transparent hole in the main WoW so you can see the background WoW's buttons through the hole.
3. Turn on "active window tracking" also known as "activation follows mouse" or "X-mouse."
With that combination, when you slide the mouse over the hole, the background WoW gets the focus but the foreground WoW stays physically in place. When you slide the mouse back, the foreground WoW has the focus again. Here's how to do these three things with HotkeyNet:
Code:<Hotkey F1>
<TargetWin "World of Warcraft">
<SetWinRegion 100 100 200 300>
<SetActiveWindowTracking on>
<AlwaysOnTop on>
Thanks, Freddie. Please go on to explain, if you don't mind, how best to get rid of the hole and allow the background window to come forward again, if desired.
You're a slave driver, Mr. K! Here's a second hotkey that restores the window to normal.
Please note this requires build 111 of HotkeyNet which is about 30 seconds old. :)Code:<Hotkey F2>
<TargetWin "World of Warcraft">
<SetWinRegion none>
<SetActiveWindowTracking off>
<AlwaysOnTop off>
