ISBoxer Pro System Rotation stops working

Hi there !

So here is my problem, I have been using default blizzard UI but recently switched to Elv UI once again. Since then my ISBoxer Pro System rotation that im using randomly stops working, like for example my DPS rotation has 9 steps in it and it gets stucks at some point and will just use 50% of it, cant even manually use some spells that are macroed via ISBoxer.

To fix it I simply have to /reload UI but it is annoying when running dungeons/raids or you are in the middle of combat when you simply cant.

Any ideas ?

Sounds like a different addon that also uses keybinds, like bartender, might also be active at the same time. Or maybe best to disable all addons except isboxer and jambaa and go from there.

If you get it to work then backup your gamefolder or the wtf one + isboxer folder so you can copy paste it later if you run into troubles again.


Hm do you get any warnings in the chat windows from isboxer? (At the very start after you enter ingame). Like it can warn if there are conflicting keybinds.

I seem to recall there was another similar case and it turned out that some part of ELV was conflicting with the ISBoxer addon. Can't recall if there was a fix found and searching for the thread on my phone is just too annoying. If I remember I'll try to dig it out in the evening at home.

Yes, I do get warning for about 10-15 keybinds that ISBoxer is overriding this binding. I can try to unbind all of these keys in game keybinds, but before ElvUI I also used to just keep them there and do nothing about it and never experieced this issue.

If I disable just ELV UI addon it will work as normal, it must be some option in ELV UI I belive, question is which one, I thought it was maybe "Key Down" in ElvUI-Action Bars- General Options as I already have this set in ISBoxer so I turn it off but didnt help.

EDIT: Looks like I might have found something, when I login with all 5, I dont get this start warning msg about overriding keybinds etc ( if It doesnt pop my stuff will not work ) I did /reload main client only and it works while the other 4 just sit there and do nothing, so looks like it just doesnt load these macros at all when I start the game.

If the issue persist and you cant find a solution i would probably just tried to ask the author via social media.

Or maybe there are some elvui help sites out there. Maybe even on discord.

(read any "read me first" pages etc first before asking though).

What I don't understand about that, is that the "fix" for Skullflower's UI was "found" on the 4th of February, but according to the changelog of the add-on, it still hasn't been updated since the 30th of January. If there was a fix to be made, shouldn't it have gone out already?

I can't imagine that it was an issue with ElvUI, as a whole, seeing as there are plenty of multiboxers who are using both ISBoxer and ElvUI, who do not report this issue.

I just feel like we are missing some information from those who are using both ISBoxer and ElvUI together. /shrug

ElvUI was one of the unit frame addons I tried out, though I eventually didn't go with it. I did use it through two 10-man raids and I didn't have any problems at all.

Could it be a lag problem? I notice sometimes with all 10 busy places and I am spamming keys to kill something, the keys may sometimes stop and I have to switch to every window then back and everything is working again, I dont have to completely exit. Should try that.

I attribute it to lag, but it happens too seldom to be able to experiment.

Since I removed keybinds in game that ISBoxer is using for macros and every time I login it was overriding them, didnt see the problem occur, as long as I see the msg in chat after logging in from ISBoxer addon "Character set activated" and Loading Key bindings.. its all working good.

There are some people that dont have a single keybind ingame and that have spent time setting spells up in isboxer with macroes assigned to a key and then labelled them f.ex "balance druid single target nameofthespell". You basically have to make one for every spell.. you then assign that spell to the game the druid is on. The benefit is that you dont have to have keybinds or macros ingame. Everything is stored on isboxer. Supposedly...im too old and i stick to what i know.
