Not sure if people already knew this or not but 3.2 added a low level quest to free you of your starter totems and gives you a generic relic instead. Now we can finally free up a few bank slots.

Can we get this from our home city shaman trainers, or will any trainer give it to us?
This is incredibly underwhelming
It's not earth-shattering, true, but it is useful. (If nothing else.)
Does this mean that for those who boosted a shaman using RAF and didn't visit a trainer....they won't need to do the totem quest that have them running all over Azeroth?

Doing those quests - especially if the shammy in question has not hit 60 yet and is still under RaF - are worth it. You'll get crazy-good xp from them. (That can mess up your team if you're trying to keep them all at the same xp, though.)Quote:

EDIT/ ahh.. didnt see the point.. just woke up. ok a totem relic when lvling is a good thing.
Turned the quest in just because I could.
It required totems of earth, water, fiire, air to be in my bags which, on completion, were replaced by a single totem. The quest is not on wowhead yet though.
