Mennu the Betrayer
Heroic Loot: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17941#heroic-drops

Totems Used:
Air: 3x Grounding + 1 Wrath of Air + 1 Nature Resist Totem
Fire: 5x Totem of Wrath (if spec'd)
Water: 4x Healing Stream + 1 Mana Spring
Earth: Not needed this fight.

The Fight:
Setup your totems and shamans at the bottom of the ramp about midway up, and far enough away that you are in max range for lightning bolt on Mennu. When you pull you want to let Mennu get as far up the ramp as possible for you to be in range and LOS, in the video I pull him fairly early because he is weaksauce now that I have a decent set of epix. The higher up you let Mennu get before you pull him the less potential Melee damage you will take. He's the standard pop Blood Lust, first cast should be just a normal lightning bolt; the second cast I generally use my EM,Trinket, Blood Furry, CL macro so that I get a big hit and now have the Blood Furry + Trinket spell dmg bonus for the majority of the fight. Now just use the standard LB x2 , Earth Shock, CL rotation to drop him ASAP. Depending on your gear you may need to have a macro on one of your shamans to target and shock his healing totem (if he's alive long enough). It's possible if you're just starting out you may need to do a heal or 2, watch out for the fire nova totem it hurts. Here's my standard macro that I used for Mennu in my early killings as well as the ZF macro all in 1.
/stopcasting;
/target greater healing ward
/target lava spout totem
/target Mennu's Healing Ward
/cast Earth Shock

Rokmar the Crackler
Heroic Loot:http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17991#heroic-drops

Totems Used:
Air: 4x Grounding + 1 Wrath of Air
Fire: 5x Totem of Wrath (if spec'd) (for beginner mode you'll be using 5 earth ele's) Speed Mode: 3 Fire elementals 2 Totems of Wrath
Water: 4x Healing Stream + 1 Mana Spring
Earth: 5x Earth elemental (for beginner mode) Speed Mode: 2 Earth Ele's

The Fight:
Set your shamans and all totems (excluding elementals) by the wall, when Rokmar paths away from you run up into his pathing range and pop your elemental totems. When Rok pats back into max range pop your Blood lust and open up big on him (earth elementals will snap agro fast). Do either 2 Lbs and then the EM/Trinket macro or just open up with the EM macro and burst him down. In this fight Rokmar hits kind of hard so I suggest using a healing macro on at least one of your shamans. My standard setup is 4 shamans bound to the 5key doing lighting bolt, and my main shaman uses this:

/cast [target=focustargettarget] Lesser Healing Wave

This will allow you to keep your earth elementals alive while maintaining a constant barrage of lightning bolt volleys. You will most likely need to drop a chain heal or 2 during the fight after his AOE frost bolt, when he enrages I suggest you stop healing the earth eles and all 5 spam dps (unless elementals are dead keep the healing macro rotation going). Other than his Aoe and Enrage he's a standard tank and spank.

Quagmirran
Heroic Loot:http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17942#heroic-drops

Totems Used:
Air: 3x Grounding + 1 Wrath of Air+ 1 Nature resist
Fire: 5x Totem of Wrath (if spec'd) (for beginner mode you'll be using 5 earth ele's) Speed Mode: 2 Fire elementals 3 Totems of Wrath
Water: 1x Mana Spring + 4x Poison Cleansing Totem dropped in a rotation so you have a constant pulse (same idea as a Tremor rotation).
Earth: 5x Earth elemental (for beginner mode) Speed Mode: 3 Earth Ele's

The Fight:
Setup on this boss is a little more elaborate than most, as you see in the video I set my guys up in a box formation. The easiest way to do this is the standard X formation (1 toon up , 1 toon back, 1 toon left, 1 toon right, main does nothing). Spread them out into the X so it's larger than normal and then press auto follow so then spin around and face the main. Drop all your totems minus the elementals that you will use while clumped up, and then spread out in the box formation. The box formation does 2 things:
1) You will now avoid the cleave in most cases
2) When Quag does his directional poison breath you should get hit by it with only 2 shamans at most.

Proceed to pull Quag with your main as I've shown in the video, once you get back to your other shamans drop your elementals and pop blood lust. Again you will want to utilize the healing macro in this fight as well to keep your earth elementals alive as long as possible. Just like any other boss open up with max dps and then your standard dps rotation with a healer spamming lesser healing waves on the focustarget target. Then he becomes another tank and spank with epic lewt!

Steamvaults:Will post strat later.

Blood Furnace: Video Links:http://www.vimeo.com/1144322
http://files.filefront.com/Heroic+Blood+Furnacewmv/;10582349;/fileinfo.html
Disclaimer: This video is longer than the other one (contains trash pulls) let me know what you guys think. If you want me to go back to the other style please say so hard finding 9mins worth of music lol.
Ignore the Gauntlet typo was 2am when I was editing this video, and vimeo took like 4 hours to upload my video not gonna go back to change 1 thing lol.
This video is also of me + g/f on her mage, the whole zone I've done with 5x shaman (not including the gauntlet). I know the gauntlet is doable with leather working fear drums or engineering frost grenades.
I don't have any professions (yet) except for my main that is 375 enchanting. This zone isn't one that I would recommend for some one who is new to heroics or under geared, however, the first boss is easy for a free badge if you are hurting on badges.

The Maker
Heroic Loot: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17381#heroic-drops

Totems Used:
Air: 4x Grounding + 1 Wrath of Air
Fire: 5x Totem of Wrath (if spec'd)
Water: 4x Healing Stream + 1 Mana Spring
Earth: Earth Elementals

The Fight:
The Maker is pretty much one of the easiest heroic bosses you'll ever come across. He's a standard tank and spank if you have enough burst dps you don't even need to bother with anything other than spam DPS.
If your gear is lacking or you're just starting out you may need to heal the earth elementals, and watch out for his mind control. Other than that pretty basic nuke and loot.

Broggok
Heroic Loot:http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17380

Totems Used:
Air: 3x Grounding + 1 Wrath of Air + 1 Nature Resist Totem
Fire: 5x Totem of Wrath (if spec'd)
Water: 4x Healing Stream + 1 Mana Spring
Earth: Not needed this fight.

The Fight:
Just like The Maker, Blood Furnace has a general theme pussy bosses with difficult hard hitting trash. If you manage to survive the gauntlet Broggok is another free badge. His fight is pretty straight forward no elementals needed just straight dps. You'll probably have to cover heal with the [target=focustargettarget] lesser healing wave; macro that I posted before. Nature resist is important on this guy as he does have the potential for a nasty AOE. After you down him move away from his body the AOE cloud is nasty shit in heroic mode. You'll die while looting otherwise.

Keli'dan the Breaker
Heroic Loot: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17377#heroic-drops

Totems Used:
Air: 4x Grounding Totems + 1 Wrath of Air Totem
Fire: 5x Fire Elementals
Water: 4x Healing Stream + 1 Mana Spring (optional is 1 Fire Resist Totem)
Earth: Not needed this fight.

The Fight:
It is very important on this guy that you set him up in the doorway, or fight him in the pentagram room. Unlike the normal when he does his "Closer... Closer..." bullshit he will pull you towards him. You're going to need the space to move out of that 10k fire AOE. To make it possible to avoid this AOE without issue (you'll see in the video some of my guys getting hit by it) I suggest/ YOU NEED to make sure you have a binding to move EVERYONE forward without auto-follow. The auto-follow speed is too slow you will lose your alts if you try to run with alts on follow. I use the 5x fire elementals because they are immune to fire damage and can help with the burst dps. You may or may not have to chain heal after the aoe shadow bolts (another reason for fire elementals after the first aoe they should eat the aoe shadow bolt for you), also you need to make sure you maintain your grounding totems. Same goes for the trash before this boss if the mark of shadow gets on you that makes Keli'dan's corruption nasty as hell, if you start getting corruptions on your guys be prepared to heal those corruptions tick for roughly 1300 a tick. He's pretty much a push over if you do him right low hps, doesn't hit hard, just avoid the corruption / shadow volley / and AOE Fire Nova and you're good to go. Pretty decent loot on this guy.

Nice stuff, I'm more interested in how you do those bug trash packs tho. I imagine you do them without elemental totems to avoid having to wait for cooldowns?

I can 4 man most bosses with totems if need be, but those 4x bug packs screw me up without a tank present.

I think you will find people use duel earthbind totems and kite, dueling them will prevent a resist and get you killed. I havnt mastered the art of it yet in heroics but im trying:/

Ah, that makes a lot of more sense. xD Thanks for the idea as well, should I try a four man sometime. :P (Which should be perfectly possible.)

Actually what I do is, target 1 of them spam LB and drop them before they get to me (no CLs is keys). Drop 4 or 5 Stoneclaw totems and then 4 or 5 fire nova totems. Now as I'm running away I drop earthbind totems staggered about 10yards apart. Spin around and blow the other 3 up. I'll post a video of the bug pulls later today up in the SP post.

It'd also be interested in seeing different ways to clear the trash since as I currently do it, I never use earthbind kiting - ever (too lazy). Usually I just focus on taking out whatever is going to come running at me first, kill one right off the bat on the pulls, any other melees go down next, negate casters with grounding, ensure plenty of distance on the initial pull... etc.

As toned mentioned he uses stone claw and earthbind and no CL... I think I do the complete opposite.

Target melee, drop grounding, trinket+lightning bolt, followed immediately by a EM+CL, that takes out the first guy in a group easily, and damages two others nicely. Quick switch to the next target, lightning bolts + earth shock (if necessary before it has a chance to hit). Then just mop up any others.

For big packs like in heroic MgT, I add in a heroism/bl, and make sure grounding is always up - taking out mage guards first then bloodknights, then any others that are in melee range, then focus on casters.

Nice stuff bud, keep em coming!!

Would like to thank you for putting the time and effort into this, already thinking about dropping my current M team for a shammy team- currnet one is pally, 3 mages and priest. Can clear some heroic instances but no efficiently at all.

I've got Mana Tombs and Steam Vaults that I need to finish up and post, probably get Ramparts and Blood Furnace recorded today as well... Re-did my SV video to show some trash pulls being as people requested I'll start showing the trash packs. Shadow Labs is one of those I'll show almost every different trash pull lol.

I have been doing heroics with 3 shaman warrior druid but I am leveling 2 more shaman for a 5 man. This thread should save me a bunch of time with strategies to get the new guys geared up faster! Thanks!

Update: Added Blood Furnace (note this video is mex4 + g/f on her mage see disclaimer). I have Mana Tombs, Steamvaults, and Ramparts videos to get uploaded to Vimeo and posted as well.

Please post your feedback, if you think the video is too long or something like that. The trash pulls were requested I may have included too may, maybe ill split videos into 2 parts a trash pulls vid and then a boss kill vid. I think 10min videos make people lose interest, so again let me know how you guys feel or if there's anything you'd like to see.

Excellent thread, can't wait to see it finished off.

The one thing I would like to request is uploading a HQ version to filefront. I like to be able to watch a video a second/third time and not have to wait for the stream to load up. If not, no problem...keep up the great work!

Awesome. Just curious, around what level of +spell dmg/crit were you when you started doing heroics, and in what order would you suggest starting them?

Sorry this thread hasn't been as active as it was when I started it I got a lot of video footage that just needs to be uploaded. Haven't found tons of time inbetween season 4 + farming + my woman is prego with twins.... However answering your question. I started doing heroics as soon as I dinged 70 I did my first 2 same day. I started off with Ramparts / Slave Pens. I was using blues/greens (full seer's set) and had the epic ring from spirit shards and the epic weapon from lower city rep. Heroics are really over-rated in my opinion currently I've done almost every heroic only ones left are Arc/Crypts/Shattered Halls... Haven't done SH / Arc because i've been too lazy to do the quests for the keys. Crypts first boss is just ugly in general even on normal haven't even bothered attempting.

This is my current gear: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Magtheridon&n=Lawlshawk which is complete over-kill on heroics. (cept MGT 2nd boss you need some decent spell dmg 900+)
