Hey, Im looking a way two play WoW with 2 accounts, two players, two sets of keyboards and mouses on one PC. Im researching in few days and here is my last hope. As far as I know ISboxer is the software that allows split screen but I dont really need duplicate key softwares but exactly the opposite I need something that allows me to use different mouse and keyboard for different screens for local coop with friend on a single PC. Is that possible. Please help!

Hi there. I'm multiboxing WOW with 2 accounts in Classic and Retail.
I'm using a software to multiseat 2 users on same PC with Aster https://www.ibik.ru/
And im using a Switch KM to Keyboard (aimos) and 2 mouses, works fine, and it's a cheap setup.

Looking how to use multiple monitores (hdmi multiplexer?). And how to setup the mouse (witch km - but have some issues)). And if my pc can run 5 wows!!! Studying... If you can share something too, it would be nice!

ya, multiplex for monitors
i use 2 KMs(shuone). One KM drives my main mouse. 2nd KM has my slave mouse/single keyboard.
The biggest issue with this setup is it requires 10 usb slots. So I added 2 PCI USB cards.

Thanks! Can you explain me how to make it work please? Can I set different keyboard and mouse for different screens?https://WowOpenBox.org allows you to control multiple WoW clients on the same PC, with a single keyboard+mouse, on one or more monitors (you can use more than 1 monitor but you don't have to).
This video gives you an example:

Dual-boxing is the gateway drug to multi-boxing :)

It's as ok as any other post november 2020 solution. It won't shield you if you RMT or otherwise do stuff that will get you banned with any software or without any software at all, but otherwise is afaik the most compliant, safest (least intrusive, no hooks, doesn't run as admin, etc...) software solution by design. Otherwise there are many threads about hardware boxing too.
Edit: it won't solve the OP's request though which seems to be multi seat single PC and not multiboxing

I already found that software but as far as I know it you need two monitors to play with it but Im looking a way to do it on a single one. Is it possible?Circling back on this thread as someone (maybe Unknown ;-) ) pointed me in the direction of software for Microsoft OSes that may create virtual monitor devices at the OS level that could maybe eliminate the need for multiple extra monitors/cables and/or multi-input-viewers and/or multi-input-montitors...
I don't know if any multiboxers have tried any of these solutions and the comments are already getting buried in the continuous stream of disjunctive multi-topic consciousness that is Discord so I though I would come post these links to a Forum thread before they are lost for me..
If anyone tries these and they actually create virtual monitors at the Operating System level please report back:
https://www.digitaltigers.com/ultraview-desktop-manager.asp
https://www.displayfusion.com/
Other alternatives that may be do something similar (not sure if any actually create monitor devices at the windows OS level):

Also the following is a nice Aster related config screen that may help with people conceptually seeing how resources are allocated to multiple Multiseat Desktops on a single PC:

it's not clear what any of these do that would help? (vs existing software for boxing)
Can you give an example of how that would be used? (I guess maybe the make 4 virtual monitors out of 1 and using these 4 with 4 aster seats?)

Can you give an example of how that would be used? (I guess maybe the make 4 virtual monitors out of 1 and using these 4 with 4 aster seats?)My understanding is that a Multiseat Desktop Configuration requires, at the OS level, multiple monitor devices... I am not sure if any VM solutions can bind VM video consoles to specific monitor devices but if any support that it could help there as well...
To date most approaches I have seen have involved putting the main client (like the Tank) on the primary desktop outputting to a primary monitor and then doing the 4 other desktops' video outputs to a 4+ port multiviewer to a 2nd physical montior to give you the 5+box via 1PC and 2 physical monitors. That means you need at least a 2nd physical monitor, physical multiviewer, & 8 extra physical video cables...
If you can carve up a single 4K or 8K physical monitor into multiple virtual monitors (& especially if you can change those layouts if/as needed) you could get a hardware input broadcast solution all from a single PC with a single large monitor if you wanted. That could well be the simplest/cheapest way to get hardware input boxing solution (single copy of windows, single wow install, single monitor, etc)... Even if you wanted to use 2+ monitors, having the ability to carve up a physical monitor at the OS level virtually could allow you to do it without the extra physical cables and multiviewer in the middle...
I am not sure if any of the solutions actually create virtual monitors at the OS level but if they do that could allow some creative options which is why I brought them up and asked if anyone has tried them...
