Alright, so my current build is considered finished, and so I made a video about everything I'm running (because I know some people are interested in that). It's just a show-off video, and you're under no obligation to watch it. :)

Very nice. You, like many in this community, have taken elements of gaming to an art form that is both unique and inspiring. Well done sir.

I really enjoyed the video MiRai. Good to see you in a t-shirt :) I am in absolute awe over how professional you are at building pc's and creating videos. :D

Thanks. It's more or less the result of the project getting out of hand, and being well beyond the point of "fk it." :)

Thanks. The video was an attempt at a more hands-on approach with using actual cameras, rather than just dealing with desktop capture. There were several areas where I would've liked to have done a re-shoot, but obviously that's a bit difficult with the components being locked into the machine at that point, and so I had to just use what I had.
And, if you're lucky, you might get to see more of the shirt now that the colder months are coming. :)
Also, for those of you who are waiting for the post-video videos, I should have, at least, one out this week.

First hardware talk video is done, and I discuss why I chose X99 over the other platforms that were available.

You'll need to save both your money, as well as your sanity. :)

Added another Hardware Talk video to the original post where I talk (at a great length) about using a capture card—both what it solved for me, as well as what I had to figure out along the way.

Eh, they're not as fragile/finicky as they once were. If you're even a little bit mechanically inclined, you shouldn't have any trouble unless you're the "I DON'T NEED NO STEENKEENG MANUALS!" type. ;)
