Hey,
I've noticed that most people, if not all seem to be running their chars using the default UI - However, is there any practical reason for this, or just preference? I have a UI built up and personally don't like the default UI, but I'm trying to better myself and wondered if there was any reason apart from the aesthetical appeal it has towards people?
Also - Another quick question if you don't mind answering... How do you run your grid and healing setups? I've seen pvp'ers like pinot {who not only does pvp, but for this example!} who has grid on a custom layout only showing his chars, which i've seen in a lot of videos.
I can understand the pros of this being that you can see your toons in the center of the screen which allows you to heal and monitor them a lot more effectively.
The issue I have with that, is that what about any friends and so forth that play with you, how do you monitor the rest of your raid/bg and friends, as well as being able to monitor your team?
I'm not sure how I can position this myself, because I want my team in the center so I can monitor and heal, etc but i also want to be able to see my raid teams. I've thought about using grid with custom layouts for my team, and perhaps adding in my friends onto the custom layouts, and having the raid and bg frames in the corner of my screen out the way and using healbot or something like that to monitor and be able to heal them, Any opinions or better suggestions please? I welcome all the help I can be to better myself!
Thank you, And sorry for what started as a small question to turn into a wall of text! :D
