first of, sorry if this is repetitive.. but im pretty sure my hp laptop with vista can handle 5 toons?
laptop specs:
intel core 2 duo processor 2.13GHz
4GB RAM
64-bit OS
nvidia geforce 9600M GT
and so i tried running WoW with keycore (5 toons) set up to http://www.solidice.com/keyclone/kc_wow_stepbystep.html guide.
it lagged terribly bad.. i was getting 2 fps logged onto 1 toon while the other games were only on the login page
so, i tried logging into WoW with only 1 version of WoW running, and it still lagged. I checked to see if it was my addons, but it wasn't.
it might have been when i tried to change my binary affinities(?) to spread em out evenly over the 2 processors i have.. but this was due to following some video guide i can't find anymore :( and the place i put in the code was my WTF folder -> config file. i tried finding the command i put and hopefully deleted the one i thought was the command i put... this weird lag hasn't fixed.
anyone have any idea why?
thanks.
