The attempts in which we can keep our MT up go just fine, but so far it seems that 80% or so attempts end up getting called after the first or 2nd plasma blast due to the tank melting :(

depending on a tank he either needs to use saves, or you need to use saves on him, on every blast unless he over gears it.
We killed algalon 25 last night, and cleared ulduar :D so pumped about that \o/

We tried with having the paladin bubble me through one, me Barkskin and SI through the 2nd, and were gonna have fen Taunt and eat the 3rd. We had issues with this so what we did instead was have Fenril Shield wall the first, Last Stand the second, then I taunted off him and Barkskin / SI through the 3rd. If you can't get through P1 in 3 Plasma Blasts you're going to be in trouble.

We also used heroism in p2, but on our kill, we actually saved it and burned through then used it in P3 the first time we brought the head down. Either way should work. If you're healing isn't that great, I'd recommend burning it in P2 to spend as less time there as you can to avoid raid damage. If you can heal through it, save it for P3 when the head comes down, it helps A LOT in how many adds you have spawn and have to kill during the P4 transition.

Still way cool though. I need to get my guild into Ulduar.If you guys are not AT LEAST 5-10 manning 25 man FL each week, you really should. We got a Runed Orb, our first shot. was 11 live players + my 3 shaman. Very much worth it. 10 man FL with no towers up is stupidly easy as well if you just want to hit it for a badge.

We've done FL10 once with 10 players. I haven't tried boxing it yet - really should. Is FL25 really that easy?yah it really is, we didn't even launch people to cause a shutdown, we just ran ALL the demos, and put my boxing slaves in sieges, and then parked the sieges in the different corners to act as pursue targets. If you can do 10 man with 10 people, you can 15-20 man it using boxing alts for sieges. Just have demo drivers keep pyrite up, and keep the passenger picking up pyrite. We also had gurb running a chopper to help slow him down. with 10-14 people, you'll have a harder time killing trash than you will killing FL.

We've done FL10 once with 10 players. I haven't tried boxing it yet - really should. Is FL25 really that easy?

I'm working on 4 towers (watch me fail and go back down too three) next week four boxing it in 10... and 3 in 25... trust me FL10+0 is pretty good if you have some people with good I level and some macros... XT, razor, and Kol should be pretty sinchy for any one in nax10 gear. I've been writing this guide about doing ulduar 10 and 25 with multiboxers in the raid (I fourbox all my raids and raid with a couple dualboxers and one 5 boxer sometimes) but I've been waiting for a yog kill on both my extremely casual Ulduar groups to finish off the guide... keep telling my self... next week.

just wanted to drop a quick update and say thanks - after incorporating the pointers here and linked to we were able to reliably get him into phase 4 for the first time last night (third evening seeing him, first evening of just working on him). Going back tonight to settle the score!

I just did FL with my mage's guild last night for the first time. We tried to do it with 12 or so and failed a few times. Brought in another group or so and downed it.

I'm especially interested in how 'nova talked about using multiple toons.

Anyone else multiboxing this encounter (and/or beyond?) beyond using your slaves as decoys?

We used about 8 regular people but Supernova and another guy brought in 4 decoys that were parked in the 4 corners in Siege vehicles. It gave FL something to focus on so we could just burn him down. We pre-loaded pyrite in mass quantities on the ground for quick pick up and all went well in the end. It may have been tougher to clear trash then take FL down. :)
