View Full Version : Cycling a rogue's Kick move between characters
I'm currently boxing 3 rogues & I'd like to be able to bind Kick to the same key for each of them, but have them take turns in using the move.
That way I should almost always have a kick off cooldown.
e.g. 1st key press - Toon1 uses Kick, 2nd key press - Toon2 uses Kick etc.
Is this possible & if so, how?
Thanks

/castsequence kick,,
/castsequence .kick,
/castsequence .,kick
The above it true for 3 toons, use more comma's if you have more toons.
And really.. you couldn't figure this one out yourself?
Okay thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
For the record, no I couldn't work this out for myself as I don't have much experience with writing macros or with this site. Please don't go assuming that everyone knows what you know.
Anyway thanks again, I've got it working now :)

dont listen to the nay sayers Deku some of us will still take the time to help.
you can also do this if you use Keyclone in the round robin feature. Either way is a good solution

You can also set this in round robin if you are using software like keyclone or HKN you can set a toggle between characters.
/castsequence kick,,
/castsequence .kick,
/castsequence .,kick
ok, now for my n00b question .... is the "." the same as "," in a castsequence?
The few times I've tried to set up a sequence like this it's caused Macaroon errors that seem to be related to the leading "," character in sequence. Does using a "." prevent this?

/castsequence reset=20 kick,,
/castsequence reset=20 ,kick,
/castsequence reset=20 ,,kick
You might want to put the resets in there just in case they get out of sequence for some reason. You also want to make the reset time equal to your Kick cooldown. I think the reset timer counts from the last time the macro ran, not the last time you used Kick. Your castsequence will get out of sync if you mash that button so just hit it once when you need it.

Better idea if you have keyclone do what ive done it so niiiice. Use ~ as your kick button for all three and put it on round robin. This way one kicks next hit another does it and the last rogue kicks last. Just make sure to put it on the round robin list. I also do this with 5 dk's nothing like stunning a mage till dead lol. You got strangulate on round robin and mind freeze and if they try and run u got dg times 5 its so nice lol.

That's exactly what I did :) did the same with dismantle/blind and a few other things as well.
I have to say blind is the biggest life saver of all when you're running away in PvP (lol rogues running away)

If I'm running multiple teams, I prefer castsequence to round robin, Things get messy for me if I start using too many buttons on RR.
