How to Split Screen Mac to dual box

So ive looked everywhere, i found a thread on the forums dated about a year ago with someone asking the same question. I wanted to Dual box and have my screen split basically down the middle, Horizontal or vertical doesnt matter. Im semi-new to macs, and cant get anything to resize my frames the way i want. They only drag diagonal. Ive been dual boxing using the expose/space feature but it causes alot of lag almost unplayable. If anyone has any info that can help would love to hear it, Thx.

Im not familiar with Macs but on a windows box I just ctrl click the windows in the task bar to select them, then r-click > Tile and the OS auto does the rest. Much better than resizing windows manualy.

few google searches later and it looks like your not alone on this request. Here is a site that has an app that will do what you want.
