    Default Coffee

Seeing how it's morning time here and I'm browsing the forums while drinking my coffee.

Who here loves the stuff? I myself am a bit of a coffee fanatic.
I find that I'm just like my grandpa(a farmer) who drinks the stuff throughout the day. My wife and I will brew a pot of regular in the morning and I'll brew a pot of decaf in the evening.

In an effort to expand my coffee horizons...
List your favorite go to coffee. I'll see if I can pickup a package of it on Amazon and let you know what I think!

The coffee I'm currently drinking is Tully's Coffee http://www.tullyscoffeeshops.com/
I'm really sad that were actually thinking of moving from Washington State to Connecticut. Not sure they can live up to Seattle when in comes to coffee haha

I used to be a bit of a coffee snob, but most of that knowledge and expertise has long been forgotten. My daily go to is Ugly Mug Memphis (https://www.uglymugcoffee.com/index....phis-blend.cfm) when I can't find that or don't see anything interesting I resort to the old faithful Breakfast Blend from Starbucks.

If you feel like throwing a twenty bucks for an half kilo of coffee, then I strongly suggest you to get some of the finnish finest: http://www.amazon.com/Paulig-Preside.../dp/B001TORU1I

I haven't had a single day without the coffee for last 30 years, and I consume that stuff a lot; at least 6 mugs each day, yum!

People keep asking if my stomach is made of iron

Back when I lived down under, I would buy a nice fresh coffee called Midnight Oil. Its a double roasted, dark and earthy, with an almost oil like sheen to the black coffee. As a consumer of somewhere between 8 to 12 mugs of coffee a day I like to make sure I have a nice one.

I used to buy it from Myers in the central city in Melbourne, although they don't do that anymore AFAIK. It appears to come from these guys... http://www.thebeanscene.com.au/beans.htm

Sadly I've not found anything quite as decent in my new home, so I just use Taylors of Harrogate (supermarket found). They had a "special" roast called High Voltage, which was very nice, so I bought some stock, which has been lasting a while, although when they runs out I'll have to fall back to the Hot Lava Java. When I feel they all get a bit much (usually when my mouth feels all furry), I have a second fallback which is the Lazy Sunday roast they do. I probably need to get out and explore and find a decent roast, but these ones will do in the meantime.

My insides could probably be mined for coffee residue..

I'm all about the San Francisco Bay (Rainforest Blend, Breakfast Blend is Terrible, Fog Horn is ok)

Wake up at midnight, the coffee issue is the best topic to discuss for me.
I tasted the delicious genuine arabica on a plantation in Peru. These guys have been making the beverage for 300 years, I trust them =)

Frankly, I'm more of a tea person. Some evil friends converted me to green tea couple years ago
    Not in the head!

I'll drink any coffee available, I don't care. Also, green tea is super healthy for you, lots of antioxidants in it and if I'm not wrong, also caffeine...
