The higher-rated arena players tend to be the most competitive PvPers, IMO. They take it pretty seriously and take pride in being good at it. So when they run into something that they can't handle, it's going to frustrate them much worse than someone getting gibbed in a BG. With them it's a matter of personal pride, so they get pretty nasty.
The thing is, though, that they're playing in a forum (arenas) where one of the keys to success is to go with certain group combinations because they are much more powerful than the average. In that thread some of them admit to queue-ducking some comps because they know they are at a disadvantage. But it's okay, that's just the way things are... until someone four-boxes a team of shaman. Then it's totally unfair and broken and a sign that you are a cheater with your I Win Button.
They don't seem to appreciate the... irony of that.![]()
