They leash back. And they won't kill you fast enough if you're on the ball to re-enslave them.
You can use them to do Lexivus the Soulcaller too btw. and probably some other elite quests I didn't think of.
Don't really need them for that guy. Unless you're running 5x locks w/o a healer.
