Don't underestimate ferals. Yes, i have a 70 feral as main and i can clear SM cath in less then 10 minutes. 1 masspull everything outside the Cathedral in bear, then barkskin and hurricane. Same goes for the Cathedral. The waterfall is a very nice place to gain some time to heal yourself up, by jumping off. The mobs have to run around.

I have a 70 Shaman that I respec'd to Elemental to boost my 1st group of 4 slaves.

I'll put this way - it takes me about 40 minutes to do a full clear of Deadmines - I've been doing it since level 10 (at 19 now)and I get almnost 1/2 a level per clear.

I understand that mages can do it in 20-30 minutes. I don't have a mage to prove that, so i'm just going on what I've read in these forums

I'm getting better at it, and my time is going down, but I only have 1 eye left as I clawed one out in boredom

    I guess I'll chime in with my 2 copper/cents/rupees. I'm using a Prot Warrior: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...oon&n=Valdenar
If I had a mage, I'd use him, but alas, I have to use what I've got.
And what I've got is 2 AoE shields, (Sporeggar and the Force Reactive Disk, both with spikes), the Naglering, Chained Essence of Eranikus, and the Electromagnetic Gigaflux Reactivator (Free thorns buff kinda). When used properly, I can decimate the entire pirate boat in Dead Mines without even attacking anything...If BC hadn't come out when it did, I might have got my Thunderfury (Essence and 1st binding still sit in my bank), and I'd be even more of a terror, but oh well, maybe I can get it for looks later.

As for the micro management in moving the characters, I do one of two things (I'm boosting a single Healadin):
    -Move in chunks.
Dead Mines, I just clear up to each door, bringing all the mobs back to my lowbie, then run them up to the door and hide the Paladin in a corner (damn patrols). Works good, just have to swing back a little sometimes to make sure to get those nasty patrols...
Stockades is easier still, I clear the first hall, then move my guy into the second room on the right, the far NE corner. From there I can get exp from the end of the East hall. Clear that one, move character into hallway just a little ways down as I make my way down that hall (doesn't need to be far). I can clear all of Stockades in just a matter of seconds over 10 minutes, so it's not too bad.

-Bring a friend! When I was boosting Dead Mines I usually got some random newbie asking me to take them, so I do. You can easily put them on auto-follow, and if you have all the possible drops anyways, I just have them pick up all the loot (saves a TON of time). Plus since I'm just dual-boxing, it gives me a slight group bonus, which is nice. You could even charge them, especially if it's a twink gonna-be.
