Class choice

So I finally got my 2nd and 3rd account. I multiboxed 3 Mages to 20 on trials. Now I have 3 full accounts and I started 3 Human Female locks. They are pretty fun, but dot and run tactic is really not ment for me. Any who, I was thinking of mixing it up, and not running just 1 class. I want to put a pally in my 3some as my main character, but Idk what would be FUN for the other 2 chars. I only have 1 BC account so that limits me in some ways, only faction though.. I plan on hitting 70 and just having fun. No set plans on PVE or PVP Any opinions on good 3some's with a Pally leader would be great! :thumbsup:

Not sure about alot of tri boxing. Pally + arbitrary dps + healer..

I s your pally going to tank or play as Ret spec? A shaman for heals and windfury totem maybe, if you're going Ret.

Honestly I think paladins are horrible for anything but 5man groups.

If you like warlocks but hate dots, then roll a destruction spec'ed warlock and maybe a couple scorch spec'ed fire mages. That's some great synergy. You could easily bind similar spells like scorch and searing pain to the same key, round robin spell lock and counter spell, fireball and incinerate, conflag and fireblast, soulfire and pyroblast for lolz, the list goes on because these two spec are very similar. Plus Curse of elements and scorch debuffs stack and would add 25% more fire damage overall, which is amazing.

That's not to say you won't have fun with a pally though. Play the game for fun, most of my opinions are based on min/max'ing because that's a part of the game I have fun with.

If you can manage it, a protection spec'ed paladin can aoe tank quite well. If you can come up with a couple classes that can aoe the mobs down (frost mage blizzard for example) you could be an aoe machine together. An arcane spec'ed mage with 40% threat reduction to arcane spells + the paladins Blessing of Salvation 30% threat reduction would mean that you could aoe tank on the paladin and pop big arcane explosions all day without anyone dying, for example.
