    And this is why you're a BG nub. You're not just wasting your time, but everyone's time. You make way more honor per hour losing than forcing a turtle.

    I've got 4 guys exalted with AV, no multiboxing... AV done right is ~500 honor every 12-15 minutes, period. Even if you're on the losing side, you should make no less than 1K honor every hour.

    If you wanna just jerk off for awhile, go raid Barrens/Astranaar/Ashenvale, you'll about as much honor per hour farming PvE nubs. Please get the hell out of AV.
    BG nub, huh? Why come off so hostile?

    I've got 7 guys exalted w/ AV... multiboxing and not, but not quite sure what that is supposed to prove or why you bring it up...it's not hard to do. In fact, the longer you sit in there, the faster you get exalted.

    AV done right is ~500 honor every 12-15 minutes...
    Oh, you mean premade? Dude, I'm only playing 3 characters out of the 40. Everyone else is going to do what they want. Some go fishing, some afk in towers...etc...

    What I'm saying is that I can force a turtle and get ~800 honor every 15-20 minutes (I'll get some screenshots for you), while the opposing faction gets 0-60 honor...AND I have lots of fun doing it.

    When I force the turtle, the opposing faction gets 0 honor.

    Be careful with this.

    My bg (stormstrike) did this very heavily by turtling IBGY and forcing alliance to defend while they reached out towers first. As long as they took just one tower, they won with full honor -- we alliance got none. Until they made the changes to push the horde starting area to an equivalent distance, horde had a near 100% win rate, with alliance getting 0 honor each game.

    You know what happened?

    Alliance quit queueing into a BG that they got no benefit out of. 1 hour games for 0 honor is not very attractive.

    So then horde starting getting their max honor that they gloated about.... every 2-3 hour queue. Neither faction "won", in the end. Horde didn't get to play enough games to make the max bonus honor worth it, and alliance didn't play any AV games at all. If you needed AV marks for gear, half the people afk'ed in the cave because it was just faster to let the horde kill Vann since you'd get 0 honor and 1 mark regardless.

    Be careful what you wish for.

    HKs are a good source of honor these days. A turtle played right will provide some pretty high honor. I'd think a addon that show this would end this argument.

    As we have discussed before, one battleground kill at level 70 is worth 20.9 honor. In the soon-to-be-history honor calculation system, you earn 10% less honor for each subsequent kill of the same player. After a mere 10 kills, the honor count drops to 0.

    Patch 2.4 is setting out to change all of this, banishing diminishing returns. This means that at level 70, each kill will be worth 20.9 honor regardless of its novelty. There will be one new restriction; after 50 deaths, a player will no longer be worth honor.

    What does all of this mean for your honor gains in each system?

    Calculating potential honor in the old system dictates that each subsequent kill's honor drops by 10% of the initial 20.9 honor, or 2.09 honor less per kill. This would net the following:

    * 20.9 (1st) + 18.81 (2nd) + 16.72 (3rd) + 14.63 (4th) + 12.54 (5th) + 10.45 (6th) + 8.36 (7th) + 6.27 (8th) + 4.18 (9th) + 2.09 (10) + 0 (all kills of Player A hereafter)
    * In total, at level 70 fighting another level 70, you could earn up to 114.95 honor per opponent.

    The potential honor gains as of patch 2.4 is calculated as follows, assuming that no other changes are made before the patch drops:

    * (20.9) * (50) + 0 (all kills of Player A hereafter)
    * This means that theoretically, at in a level 70 battleground, you could earn up to 1045 honor per opponent.

    Although it is unlikely you will ever manage to kill every opposing player 50 times, it is inevitable that you will kill most more than once, at which point, you already are earning more honor than you would have otherwise.

    For each kill after the first, you are earning 2.09 multiplied by 1-10 more than you would otherwise for that kill. Up to 40 kills of that same player will earn you 100% more honor!

    There is something to be said about "fun" as well -- Alliance could completely roll horde in one of the 3 other battlegrounds and get kill honor PLUS bonus honor... or they can suffer morale-degrading losses for 0 bonus honor and 1 hour games for a single AV token (keep in mind -- tokens can now be turned in for honor as well).

    Which is more efficient?

    Bonus honor matters, because you can get kill honor in ANY battleground. Therefore, the most efficient battleground is one where you can get both kill honor and bonus honor, and have fun doing it.

    I generally reply "sorry, I don't go after other boxers". Does everyone feel this way? Is there really an unofficial stance on this?
    I find that a bit of an odd stance to be honest

    Everybody is fair game in BG, and I relish going after another boxer to genuinely test my skills (such as they are!) against theirs.

    I'd feel simply challenged meeting another boxer. I love challenge ...
    I mean, you as a single person controlling more than one char simply are stronger than one person alone. Not saying better than multiple persons controlling one toon each. But you've got the advantage, that you are always with multiple chars on the road. Seeing that - It's a sweet challenge to meet someone on equal terms

    If I see another multiboxer in a BG and they see me too... well I didn't kill em fast enough. I'll feel bad afterwards... till I see em again Muahahahaha I don't multibox for equal footing I multibox to own and fast and I think deep down everyone else does at least a bit too. It is more challenging because of the setup, multitasking, theorycrafting gearing,fundingX5 etc. but we do ALL THAT to "win" not to be another guy getting turtled outsid ethe graveyard.... SOOO!!! that goes to fighting other mboxers too ide sy use what youknow about em... there is a main! If you figure out who it is! Kill it first!!! NO MACRO is fast enough to make losing a main completely unimportant. After that jsut tap off one more at a time and if you got the dps you should and they arn't like... 5x paly's bubbling and healing....(I would laugh till I died if I saw this btw) YOU WIN! YAY! oh btw... if a mboxer kills me in the manner I just described, well.... I wont like it but... ehhthat just means that guy needs some 5 way spankins=P... SOO who listens to books on tape while the level there mboxer so they don't go nuts doing questsX5?

    You're quite wrong. I just have to PiP the "next in command" to my main window and carry on playing when my main dies. It takes a very small fraction of a second, and I'm usually already there once I realise my main's going down.

    But, yes, that'll definitely hurt people who have a REALLY BAD SETUP and this is the wrong thread for me to get into details on that

    I guess it depends alot on your setup... I doubt 90 % of the people here have a truly perfect setup so they can switch that well without it affecting anything. But, I guess when I meet come mboxers in a bg ill find out lol... maybe ill get stomped... over and over and over and over.... would be a interesting change
