Only Threes

Ok, so I have to ask

If you had to play with a three man team, on a pvp realm with interest on world pvp how do you build your team and really what i want to know is what three classes or combination of...

I have three hunters and three locks all just into the teens I like them all but as far as world pvp.. any ideas on a group build that will allow me to not die every 15 mins? :cursing:

i know, i know.. play what you think is fun.. and to that i say please avoid pally groups =/ I have one, and i dont like being a heal bot let the solo players take that role 8o

well with a 3's group you can practically do any combo you want.

3 mages are fun for pvp - free food - port to anywhere for fighting

1 priest 2 locks are usable - priest good for rezzing and keeping regens on locks while they mana tap- along with fort buff

3 shammys are always a given, self rez and rez others helps alot for when you are tired of corpse runs.

3 hunters are fun - a little harder to pvp against higher lvls since you need to kite. Hard to keep facing the target on all 3 when shooting

any 3 melee class i would steer clear of.... alot of micro management there.

I have some input. I played 4 hunters which is an AWESOME GROUP you own pvp and can isntance farm pretty nice but 3 hunters prolly wouldn't do quite as well sooo ide say:

1Druid

2hunter/mage

You don't want to have no tank so a druid can do alot of things, rez, heal, or tank or jsut get int he face of those pesky melee guys that mess with you in bg's. The DPS is pretty obvious. ide lead towards hutners because pets with BM spec ROCK and offer alot of adaptability. Mages would also be viable because they have some good slows, food,drink, and portals!!!! But They are delicate which i find an issue as a mboxer.

wow.. i like the druid hunter combo.... only 3 hours till the end of my shift.. there are just so many options open to me at this point.. my head is on overload...

Let us know what you decide!!! lol i hope you take my suggestion... I read your post and was thinking about it on the pot... and thats where the druid and 2 hunters came from, makes me want to make a druid as my leader for my 4 hunters now!!! lol too many alts already bah!

Since your interest is purely in PvP, a tank isn't top of the "must have" list, so I'd go for a homogenous group for ease of play.

You will have already realised that anti-fear needs to be top of your "must have" list for PvP If you're going undead, I'd go with three mages. PoM + Pyro + slow fall from a flying mount is fun!

Plan B would be the obvious 3 shammies for greater survivability. Nuff said.

My favourite, though, would probably be 3 hunters. With rocket boots. And the BM talent that makes you immune to fear (I can't remember the name right now).

High DPS pets, huge burst damage, chain armour, traps and a quick burst of rocket boots to make space to kill those sneaky rogues when they pop up in the middle of the group = and definitely what I personally would choose, even though everybody will thoroughly detest you.

A bit more off-the-wall would be 3 druids. You'd have to rely on the trinket for anti-fear, which quite frankly won't be enough most of the time, but you've got the ultimate ability to pick your fights with a stealth-capable team anyway and 3 sets of stackable druid HoTs feels a bit like a comfort blanket!

If only I had time to try all the combinations I want to.... *sigh*.

I'd probably do 3 hunters. Maybe 3 shadow priests.

If I was guaranteed to be a part of a larger group when I wanted to play(like AV), maybe 3 restro shamans.
