    Default Hardware Tools Forums

Why can't I start a new thread in the Hardware Tools Forum?

I always get the error message:

Sorry, but only administrators can post topics in this forum.

because only admins/moderators do it maybe to prevent unneeded ad and threads about useless hardware

I've been contimplating taking it off and letting anyone make a post in those sections but I try to keep it clean cut and not cluttered.
There is a post at the top where you can add a new piece and I'll make a new posting for it, or making a thread in the general forums works and I move it over.
Overall the userbase is pretty mature, which is why possibly letting anyone make a post in those sections might be beneficial as long as it doesn't end up with misc repeat threads.

Something you could do Ellay. The hardware section as of right now is more or less "Hardware news" Which is a good thing to have. You could rename it maybe, then create a new hardware forum. Just a thought.
