Ugh... just found a black widow spider in my bathroom...

Never seen one in my life before but I just moved in here July 4th weekend and my new roommates who've lived here for 3 years tell me they've never seen one before either. It was just starting to make a nest in the corner of the bathroom.

Meh.... it'll be weeks before I takes a shower without shaking the towels first. I'm not afraid of spiders... but I sure as hell don't want to be biten by a BW. :S

I live in the woods. On a recent one hour bike ride I went through a few dozen of these. They are harmless but tickle a lot when they walk across your face.

I remember my sophomore year in college. I went to the bathroom to take a number 2. Wail sitting down i saw something next to the pipe. I was WTF is that a dead rat or something. So i finish my business and then took a closer look i was like WTF it is a F bat. Ran down to the RA, cleaning lady was there too, and told them about the bat. They both laughed at me and went up to see "the bat". They went in and didn't see anything and said i was lieing. I went in with them and showed them, this was funny, they both ran out (the RA was a guy) screaming. So they called someone to take it out. Before the guy came the RA closed the bathroom door and put a note on it saying it was closed. My suit mates thought it was a joke so they continued to use it (it would have been funny if one of them took a shower and the bat flew in). Any ways, the guy comes to take "the bat" out. Went in and couldn't find anything, knocks on my door and asked why i lied about it. I then showed him where it was and he was like WTF and runs out. Comes back with a box and a net and closes the door (i wasn't in the bathroom though), all you could hear was banging noses and crashes, it was funny, then he comes out and said everything is ok. I asked, did he kill it, he was like no i put it in a box and going to set it free. I went to the bathroom after he left and saw blood spots in the conner, I went back 2 years latter (was in the same dorm for all 4 years) and the blood was still there.

LOL every year something happens in my bathroom, Junior year wasn't funny, but Senior year was the best and Freshman year was funny too... if you want to hear let me know
