New to dualboxing and looking for some direction

To make a long story short I moved my pvp priest and mage off to a PvE realm for my ex-gf and yeah, I am looking to level them back up. Figured I'd make use of both of my accounts and try dual boxing on them using 2 computers. I set up synergy and have it working great. Only issue is now I am realizing that they're not synced too well so on one computer I am running into a wall and the other is moving just fine.

Here are some general questions I have:

Do most people just set the secondary toon to be on follow at all times?

What do people use in order to make accepting quests easier as well as repairing/buying items?

yes

check macros forum for sticky thread, there is macro which accepts trade/quest/res and something else by one keypress

for repairing use Automation addon, it does autorepair when you click vendor who can repair

didnt understand what you mean as buying items
anyways you have to switch between toons in order to buy items
